Hey, my little brother Javi wanna purchase a basketball game for PS2, but I can\'t help him. I don\'t really follow basketball and skip every piece of news that is related with it. The question is simply: What\'s the best basketball title available for PS2 right now?
Thanx, ;)

I have gotten the most enjoyment out of NBA Street, but I haven\'t played them all. NBA Street is sort of an arcade style basketball game, not an attempted simulation. Sega\'s NBA 2002 may be good, but I haven\'t tried it yet. NBA Live sucks hard, and you should stay away from it.

Thanx a lot Coredweller. I\'ll stay away from NBA LIVE. Let\'s hope if any member has any other idea, if not, I\'ll recommend him NBA Street.

I agree in all with Coredweller. first STAY OUT OF NBA LIVE!!
If your brother want a simulation game, the best he can get is NBA2K2. The game is perfect!! I have it on X-Box, Dreamcast and PS2 and can\'t say a bad thing about it. Just that may be a little hard in the most difficult mode.
If he wants a game where he can see Michael Jordan doing a jump from center court and jam the ball right on your face he may want to get NBA Street that is an arcade game.
NBA2K3 is coming with online mode. Just telling you because he maybe want\'s to wait

Thanx PSXXX. After reading both replies, I think i\'ll recommend him to buy NBA Street. Funny over all ;)

if your bro is looking for fun, it is NBA street....but if it is a simulation i would definatly go with NBA 2k2

Im also going to go with the masses. Get street for arcade silly fun..get that sega nba game for realism. I thought live was pretty cool for a while..but that was only b/c I havent had a new bball game since shoot-out98 :D

NBA street may not be a simulation but its the funnest around, simulation is harder and more realistic of course but i had more fun with NBA street
