Title: Lilo and Stitch 0wn3d
Post by: Kenshin on June 29, 2002, 12:55:04 AM
Yeah went and saw Lilo and Stitch with Ryu and Rya today. It was actually pretty damn good. Had alot of funny and emotional scenes. Even though its a Disney flick and recommended for children only, I still thought it was a great movie. You should all go watch it. Any of you guys seen it yet? If not you should go. Bring your girlfriend or kids. They\'ll get it a kick out of it too.

I know I\'m going to get bashed on this but anyone else planning on going to see the powerpuff girls movie? I am :D  Powerpuff rock!!!

Don\'t watch Disney movies because Disney is the 2nd most evil corporation in the world, just behind Microsoft, and ahead of Walmart.

they are also subliminally inappropriate for children...

watch lion king, and aladin, and in little mermain, the preiest at the end gets a boner during the wedding ceremony.

Lol, yes.  And in The Lion King when simba falls into some flowers and a bunch of pollen flies into the air, for a split second it spells sex.

In Aladin i think it kind of sounds like he tells the princess to take of her clothes...but hes really talking to that tiger.

But those subliminal messages were only the fault of one animator getting a little "bored" during production, not the whole Disney team.

You can blame disney for that. They let it into production and more than likely didnt take action. While I enjoy some of the "adult" humor in disney flicks, if I had kids..they dont need to see and hear that stuff in one of their flicks.

well yes you can blame disney for it becuase the animator was part of Disney\'s production crew.  But it was only the decision of one person or a couple of animators to put those "events" into the films.

Ah ok. I just thought I\'d heard something about P&S DVD\'s from Disney, but I don\'t own any myself (I believe it was about Atlantis? Could be wrong though).

what i dont understand about disney move is there always has to be some major trauma in the like ol yeller getting shot or simbas dad dying in the loin king its like they have to force death and sadness onto little kids instead of making a completly upbeat enjoyable movie

Simple..makes the movie more memorable..which makes for more $$$$ While my next statement may or may not be their idea..it  is also a good thing. Kinda helps children come to terms with death and other bad things they will have to face in real life.

I have "The Rescurer\'s Down Under".  The VHS version that was recalled from Walmart and other stores because of that one scene.  Where the mice take off on the bird going by the buildings.  There\'s one frame where you see a topless woman smiling, nice tities too!  You can only see it if you go frame by frame though.
