Gamecube will hold it\'s own, it\'s aimed at pre-teens. X-Box and PS2 are the ones going head to head, personally I really dont give a damn.

I thought they just wait until launch day and then push that big red "make-new-console" button :rolleyes:

The PS3 will be out in 3-4 years and all consoles\' graphics are outdated compared to PC\'s. And no, that doesn\'t mean I won\'t buy a Xbox or a NGC (when the good games come out). They seem good to me.

Ps2 has been out far too long to fail. It has had a head start, it has sold ALOT more consoles and software than both systems.

Those arent the reasons. Ps2 is NOT "better" it just has better games and a bigger fan/customer base. THAT is why its outselling them.

XBox has the prettiest graphics and it should do the best, but people are just too damn stupid. Also, because with XBox it\'s so easy to make awesome-looking games, they can concentrate on making games with awesome gameplay too, so XBox will of course play host to the bestest of the bestest.

PS2 is doomed I tell ya.

That being said..so will xbox :) You know that little nerd Bill goes on power trips all b/c he can. He will push something to the limit just for the fact he can afford to. While no one wants to loose money, we have seen in the past where it seems he just doesnt care and will do so just to prove a point.

In a way, one kinda has to admire that..in another..one just wants to shake their head is befuddlement.(sp)?

Sony\'s key to sucess is beating the other consoles to the market by at least a year (like with PS2). By the time newer consoles are out, Sony has already won the console war with many units already in use. I remember when consoles came out around the same time, somehow Sony came out earlier than the rest with the PS2. If the same happens in about 3 years from now, I predict a unprecedented 3 console war wins for the once newcomer SONY.

It all depends on who wins over the gamers...PSX was able to take Nintendo\'s and Sega\'s fans over. It didn\'t happen right from the start however...given that, MS or Nintendo could "win" some gamers loyalty within the next 3 years.
