I don\'t know too much about computers except how to work it. A PS/2 port is the same as serial ports, right? I think my computer is serial ported. I need an answer ASAP.
-
no, PS/2 is the round plug the mouse/KB used to plug into
a serial port has 9 pins and look kinda like a video port
this is a serial cable
you\'de be hard pressed to find a serial mouse anymore
most are USB anyways

Phew. I have the round thing. It also has the pins. The mouse port is round as well as the keyboard but the printer and monitor as well as joystick and gamepads have pins. Ok, I can go ahead and get the mouse then . Thanks mm. You saved me yet again.

My mom had one of those change of hearts. She\'s afraid it\'s not going to work. She said that if it doesn\'t work, I\'ll have to send it back and that whole ordeal will cost us 1/3 and that we should just put it toward a brand new one from the store. It\'s a gamble I\'m willing to take. They are "factory recertified" as the auction says. They basically go over and over and make sure it\'s perfect, i guess.
