Title: Warcraft 3 tomorrow anyone?
Post by: videoholic on July 02, 2002, 05:44:23 PM: Should I be expecting to play anyone tomorrow night? actually I may have to work tomorrow night and then I am going to the parentals for 4 days. I may not get to really play till Sunday. I might just bring it to the parentals though. I\'ll at least get to play a little tomorrow night online. I\'m tired of playing the computer.

Post by: theomen on July 02, 2002, 05:47:01 PM: I was *ahem* aquireing it the other day on a 56k. It took 2 days, then once I installed it, it turned out be NHL2002. I guess i deserved it, so I have to now decide whether to risk it and buy it, w/o trying it out first.

Battle.net will be one giant clusterf for the holiday weekend. I\'ll have it but I\'ll just be one-play-in\' it.

If I remember correctly there are for races. Orcs, Humans, Necro, and something else. The undead or something. I can\'t remember off the top of my head. I was playing the story line so I never got to choose my race and without the instructions I didn\'t know what the heck I was doing.

They have 4 different boxes all with different races on the cover. Pretty nice art. I bought the Orc. He\'s greasy.

Post by: Ryu on July 03, 2002, 03:11:55 PM: I just beat the prologue and got started on the human campaign. I have the collectors edition, very choice with all the extras. So far, the little details are very good and is really what makes the game stand out. I still think the non-synched lips for voices is very annoying though.

EDIT: I\'m very surprised the game is a single CD. I expected much more then that, especially considering how big diablo was. Even Red Alert had a disk per campaign.

Despite my Powerhouse computer, and BB connection, I have humungo lag and keep getting disconnected from games(not good for rankings). Two things it could be, a) Battle.net or b) a lot of activity online at 2:30 in the morning around my area.

also let me say that now that ive got a solid 4 hours into this game, im REALLY impressed. i knew this game was gonna be good... but HOT DAMN this game is good.
