We\'ve all seen movies on television that were edited for the channel and at times, instead of just blanking the word out, they switch up the dialogue entirely to something hilarious. What are the funniest ones you remember?
"F*ck you A*shole" -Terminator
to
"Eat this SCUM!"
List some others.
-
"Oh you did not shoot that grain sh!t at me"
to
"Oh you did not shoot that grain crap at me"
That was Independence Day. I know, lame example. Can\'t think of any others off the top of my head.
-
Even funnier is when they dont have the original actors/actress\' do the extra voice over when the replace words..lol early Eddie Murohy movies come to mind.
-
When Austin Powers was on TBS.
He said: "I never forget a pussy........cat"
And they edited to: "I never forget a Kitty......cat"
I thought that was pretty funny.
-
Army of Darkness on the Sci-Fi channel:
"I never even saw these ass-holes before!"
Becomes...
"I never even saw these ape-heads before!"
I thought that was funny.
-
In Friday, they changed "You got knocked the f*** out"
to
"you got knocked the hell out."
Still a funny line though.
-
Coming To America (all the Way through)
insted of (F%^K YOU !)
They replaced it with (FORGET YOU !)
-
They did the same in Friday. Friday was a good movie

Hey, that\'s the exact sentence James uses in Silent
Hill 2 when he\'s angry about Eddie who\'s just eating
pizza at the bowl centre. Now I better understand
how Eddie could get hostile to James.
But about the edited movies on tv. Sometimes they
do cut part of a scene out ! Just to fit it in the
tv schedule -> that\'s just f*cked up ! So then I watch
this movie I\'d seen before and then I notice something
is wrong ; "hey they\'d cut out that part of that scene !"

The funniest had to be Dumb and Dumber. The line was towards the end.
"You know where you can sign, right on my ass!"
It was changed to:
"You know where you can sign, right here on my sandwich!"
WTF? Sandwich? Doesn\'t even make any sense.
-
That doesn\'t make sense.

Haha, I love movies about ignorant foreigners moving to Queens. I think this is the only one, though. :p

From Half Baked...
Original - What\'s that stuff we used to eat... oh ya, pus*y.
TV - What\'s that stuff we used to eat... oh ya, puddin.
and
Original - Don\'t get me wrong, I love weed. But not as much as I love pus*y.
TV - Don\'t get me wrong, I love weed. But not as much as I love women (in a completely different voice)

In Die Hard with a vengance instead of Mother fvcker it was
Melon Farmer. I thought that was hilarious
-
The Harry Endfield show did a scetch about TV editing and it was a spoof on a gangster film and one of the lines was....
"Kiss My knee you Muddyfunster "

DIE YOU MELON FARMERS!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Actualy it was samual jackson that said that. LOL
-
How about the sign Bruce Willis carries in the begining? Changed from "I hate **racial profanity**", to "I hate everybody". Yeah, those guys would get so pissed because of that...

There was one edit that killed a joke for us dumb people:
Original: "We bread a bulldog and a shitzu. We called it a bullsh!t"
Edited: "We bread a bulldog and a shitzu."
It took me a while before I got the joke.

The best of all time has to be when TBS showed Die Hard 2.
Willis said "Yippie-kiyay Mutha F***a"
and they changed it to "Yippe-kiyay Mista Falcon" and the best part of this is that the voice sounded nothing like his and had a spanish accent to it. Priceless indeed, almost like they wanted it to be a big joke.
