I agree..foley is essential to certain aspects of wrestling..as is hogan..flair..scsa..rock..etc. I really hate hearing ppl whine about "it\'s time for the old timers to push on and let the new guys star"... if it wasnt for the old guys, they new ones wouldnt have a pot to piss in. In this business as with anything on TV or theatres...one has to know how to balance a little from column A and a little from column B.

I think the death of wrestling was when WCW and ECW ceased to exsist..why..no more real competition. (As far as ratings anyway) Now ppl have no choice, sure you have a small cache of ppl from all organizations in 2 shows, but it isnt the same.

They should get better writers. The story is becoming too predictable.

They need to get rid of the old guys.  And i dont mean Rocky etc.  I mean Hogan and Flair.. Undertaker soon.. SCSA is gone too

They had their day.  They made this business, but having a 48 year old manin the ring is WRONG.. i mean, for the first time in about a year, Kurt Angle wasnt involved in the best match at a PPV purely because of Hogan.. ugh

I think it is great that the young guys are coming through and are slowly working their way up.  That why the show sucks right now.  Old guys still there, young guys being brought forward.  In 6 months time all will be well again.

I think that the writers are trying to make the storylines more simple and "im gonna fight you" stuff, im a fan of the storylines that are worth watching, we all know its not real so why keep it so life-like, i was a huge fan of the angle/HHH/steph story where Kurt stole steph, but it all went down hill from there.

Puh-leeze. Billy and Chuck, and the Vince McMahon kiss my ass club are the best storylines ever.

J/K. Actually, I liked the alliance thing, except for how it carried on too long.

we all knew who the "Higher Power" was when they had Austin tied up in the ropes the monday before........he said "vince you SOB".  On Nitro they were talking about it the night he "un-masked" so to speak they were trying to guess who the "higher Power" was.  do You realize during that angle was the Debut of Stephanie?

It is sad that there is no real comptetion, but does anyone really miss WCW? It sucked.

However, I wouldn\'t mind seeing ECW again.

I miss the days of Bret Hart vs Yokozuna.

Now that was a fued, it wasn\'t one of these "I hate you this month, but next month we\'ll be a tag team" type of fueds.   Those two guys hated eachother, and when they finally fought eachother, it was really somethin to watch.  They really need more of these complete hatred fueds, where the two combatants are mortal enemies, not just mad at eachother because someone cost them a title shot.
