Title: Home Run Derby
Post by: Bozco on July 08, 2002, 05:06:59 PM: Sammy Sosa is unreal. 12 home runs in the first round, 5 of which were over 500 ft. His longest being 524.:eek: He\'s a freak.

on a side note, living only 45 minutes away from milwuakee i tried to get tickets for the derby... 200 FREAKING DOLLARS!

Don\'t make it sound so negative..players taking drugs are a part of all sports. There are always a few bad apples in each sport..it isn\'t limited to baseball.

As for topic..Im still a little disapointed sammy didnt win being a cubs guy and all. Hell I still remember last year when Giambi hit 14 in the first round..only to hit like 3 or 4 in the 2nd and lose.

Really I dont know why I hate him, I just do. Its how he plays the game I guess. Really I have no idea.

the was a guy who played for the brewers a long time ago cecil something but that was when it was county stadium so him and sosa are the only ones who\'ve hit balls out of the park in milwuakee
