Title: Stupid DSL/telephone problem..(help)
Post by: luckee on July 09, 2002, 04:25:04 PM
Ok check this out..I have DSL..I have cordless phones

1 cordless never interfered when I was on the phone. This new phone..when ever I use it..disconnects my bb untill my conversation is finished. It says connected if I use any other phone It is plugged into the same plug as the previous phone was(which didnt have this problem) so I\'m really stumped here. Anyone have any idea\'s what could be wrong?

From my understanding, they were only noise filters and since I didnt have any kind of problems..more power to me.

O well, thanx for reminding me..soon as I find them..I\'ll see if that remedies my situation.

thanx for the simple solution mm. Fixed the problem right up. I still don\'t understand why the other cordless that used to be in the same plug with no filter didnt cause this prob.

Youre new phone probably sends out a signal at a much higher megahertz.Even just two years ago most cordless phones used 900mhz while most new cordless phones use more than twice that.
