It\'s very much like WOXL. It seems rather easy but then again, I had very little time to play. The tracks are dizzying!
One thing i do miss.....gravity seems to have gotten much heavier in this game compared to the first two versions. No longer can you launch and "glide" from the track\'s crests.
Anyone else in the US version gotten more playtime? I think this may have gotten some tweaks since the European launch.

Yeah, I got this game last November (it was released in Australia extremely early... don\'t ask why).
Its quite good. In our version though, lotsa slowdown when going really fast, lotsa action etc, still good game though.
I would have prefered the old ship designs. These new ones seem far too Star Wars for my liking. Also, some tracks are just too unrealistic, taking away the whole \'could be possible in the future\' feeling of Wipeout XL.
Its still a good game though. Graphically its pretty good, but I would have prefered something similar to XL.

November? It\'s been 8 months! Hmmm....plenty of time for them to tweak the slowdowns since I didn\'t notice any when all 4 crafts ahead of me were mowing each other down with Proton bullets and guided missiles followed by a quake from some nutcase behind my craft.
It was like Mad Max on steroids and caffiene with a sprinkle of Star Wars. :p

Its sitting on my shelf begging to be played right now, but I can\'t be bothered. Goin\' thru Zelda: LLTP, Zelda: Oracle of Ages and then Adventure of Monkey Island..Maybe eventually, I\'ll get to Wipeout...:D

Man....this game is tough! I keep getting shot up like an Iraqi tank during the Gulf War! In some of the tracks, I can barely survive long enough to get past the second lap! I\'m usually KIA in two of the thee league tracks competition!

LOL, just wait til you have the Piranha ship and then you\'ll know how tough it is. I love the music and track design btw, although I agree that there are some that weren\'t necessary. I love the jungle, Florian Heights and the other ones (with the underwater area).
