threats from a Canadian, excuse me while I laugh.

I\'m really looking forward to this game. Only problem is the only way I can get BB in my area is to get a PC dish and that\'s a little too much $$$ for my budget. So I will be enjoying this game offline. :D

U guys do have a good health system, it just wouldn\'t work here in the states, mainly cuz the way our drug businesses are.

I believe SOCOM is online/broadband-only, Alastor. No offline mode, at least to the best of my knowledge.
-
No 182
Its offline as well. Thats the real reason behind the headset and the voice recognition implementation.
-
countdown till socom/broadband adaptor????
-
yeah, it has a large offline game
read some of the previews
even the enemy will response to voice commands
-
I heard that even if you had narrowband you could still play online...only with limited numbers.

Mu brother just went to EB and pre-ordered it. Turns out its only gonna cost $40.00, head set and all. Well, $45.00 because of the pre order.
-
whoa really? I\'d be thinking it would be like $55 with the headset.. That\'s pretty cool. Can\'t wait to play.. Sucks that I have no BB...:(

Actually, he just informed me that its just $40.00. The 5 down is part of the $39.99 total price. Whoo hoo!:boom:
-
then i\'m going to import it from the us.... it will probably gost about $60 over here :(
edit: do you have a webpage to the store witch it costs $40?
-
EDIT: Sony recently lowered its 1st party software to $40.00. But with the Headset, the game will cost $50.00. Damn girl at EB didn\'t know what she was talking about.
-
What did she say ?
-
That socom only cost $40.00. She didn\'t have enough brains to figure that a head set would probably raise the price just a tad...
Well, maybe thats a little mean, but I\'m annoyed at the moment.
-
ya well i understand ! everytime i call EB for information they always seam to have less information then me ! and ofcourse their idiots
-
48,99 have i seen....
thats not so bad
-
yep can\'T wait to kick people\'s ass :D

or vice versa ;).

Most EB employees dont know crap..They tend to not really hire gamers.
But the suggested retail price is going to be $60 for SOCOM, and $40 for the Brodband adapter.
I dunno if you\'ll be able to get it for cheaper immediatly after release..
