Post by: GAMES on July 11, 2002, 10:10:30 AM: Finally the PS2 HAS come back to Fremont California!

I got my new PS2 today! I\'m so freak\'in happy my brother bought me a new one yesterday and gave it to me today! If you guys don\'t remember I\'m that idiot who put his PS2 in the freezer http://www.psx2central.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=22672 . It\'s only been a little over a week without my PS2 and I finally got it back. I noticed the design for the console has changed a bit, the net on the back covering fan is no longer there and something about the front is different, hmm I wonder why?

Anyway, I can finally play GTA3 and finish up FFX at last! My older brother said he bought it because I was taking to long to get a job and he already had the money and everything so he just went ahead and bought it.

Some of you are probably wondering why I just said I didn\'t have a job when just last week "I" said I already got one. Well, as most of you do not know that I am really a twin. I know most of you won\'t believe me but I am. If you remember around a year ago I posted a thread ( http://www.psx2central.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=11866 ), where me and some one named LEEJIN talked to each other, well, he\'s really my brother. We thought that would be funny and some of you even fell for it, hehe! He lost his username so he has been using mine. So all this time I\'ve beem posting here you guys have been talking to either him or me, wierd huh?!?
And he is the one who wrote saying I already had a job. I didn\'t even know he was going to do that, that little sucker! He\'s been using my name alot lately too! Probably because what I did to the old PS2, he really hated me for that to. Anyway, I thought I\'ll let you guys know.

Time to enjoy my PS2 after a long week without it. And I got it just in time for Mark of Kri next week to, YES!

I have my PS2 sitting right there behind me hooked up to the entertainment system and I might really get into it on my own once a month or so. I only get really serious when Im playing with buddies or something. Ahh well, I guess you cant call me a true gamer but I still love my PS2..dont get me wrong.

Used to It\'d be that I\'d get 30 or 40 games on a system with in a couple of years but now I have about 10 or so because I have so much more crap to pay for now days like gas and fixing my car.

Heh, me like my avatar to but I just wonder if mm will say something. *sits and waits for diciplanary actions*:crap:

Actually no, I just changed my email address yesterday to renasant@attbi.com, it\'s my moms e-mail address but I use it also, if you want to send something then go right ahead.

What did you send about Software Ect?

BTW, thanks guys, it does feel good to have the PS2 back with me, I\'m currently playing Stuntman and boy is it driving my brother and I nuts. We stayed at the same level for about 3 hours! But nontheless, a very entertaining game, especially with more than one person playing with you.:D

Yeah, your right, he got so bored around the house he couldn\'t wait for me to make enough money and get one, so now I got a new PS2 without even doing much :cool: . But now he uses it more because he always says "I bought it you idiot!". Then I have to wait until he\'s done to play :mad: . But at least I get to play when he\'s at work so no biggie ;) .

I\'ll buy that Adapter no matter what the price!:D.....or my brother will!:laughing:

Post by: GAMES on July 23, 2002, 10:38:00 AM: Well, it\'s not a huge difference, you would be able to tell from afar but there are a few things different from the model I got at Launch (Oct 2000) and the new one I have. For example the fan used to be covered by some type of net but now it\'s gone and also the vents in the front are re-arranged. Nothing big but they probably did it for some reason I don\'t know of.

I\'m actually going to first try compressed air. Then if that doesn\'t work, send it to Sony.

Post by: videoholic on July 25, 2002, 08:45:27 AM: Compressed air is actuall bad for some electronics. Don\'t know about the PS2, but it just dislodges dust and pushes it sometimes into crevaces of other components. I know with VCRs and such you can\'t do that.

Use a vaccum cleaner and suck that shit up.
