Each Scandinavian country will get its own Official PS2 Magazine this year.. Woho!

Now I dont need to import the extra expensive UK version :)

In short: The Official PS2 mag be released via the Scandinavian PS2 distributor Egmont. The magazine (just like the UK version) will come with a DVD disc filled with playable demos each month.
The mag will launch in Denmark and Norway in July but we Swedes have to wait until this fall (:()
Price has not yet been set.

Pretty cool eh?

Theres something about all three of those flags.... they have something in common.. just.. cant.. put.. my.. finger.. on it.. :confused:

Us Finns not a part of Scandinavia? Strange, I thought we were...

Odd that we\'ve been getting an Official PS2 mag of our own for quite a long while. It\' just the UK version stripped down (half as thick), badly translated and just as expensive. (in other words: it stinks)

No your not! You are worthless! :D

This mag will be like the old Official PSX mag, they will do their own reviews ect.
But we will get the UK Demo Disc.

BoB: I think it has something to do with the colour. All flags have white in them :nerd:

And may I just add that the Danish flag (red & white one) was the model for the two other wanna-be\'s. ;)

Yes Denmark has one of the oldest flags in the world.

But Im not so sure we Swedes used yours as a model though, according to the legend St. Erik (or \'Erik den helige\') saw a yellow burning cross on the sky during his crusade in Finland and understood that he must fight under this sign so he made a banner with the yellow cross (burning cross) with a blue background (the sky). This was in 1157. ;)

we added some blue after being in a union with denmark for 400 years :)

"Dannebrog" -- The Danish Flag

The Danish flag, called Dannebrog, is the oldest national flag in the world. Dannebrog translates into "Danish cloth".
During a battle on 15 June 1219, in the small Baltic country of Estonia, the flag is said to have fallen from the sky.  When King Waldemar II defeated the Estonians, God let this "Danish cloth" fall to the ground.

The Danish flag has two colors, red and white. The red symbolizes the blood of the martyrs. The white represents purity and Christianity.

The crosses on Scandinavian flags (including the Danish flag) are measured by the width of the color.  In the case of Denmark, horizontally there are 12 units of red, 4 units of white, and 21 units of red.  Vertically the flag has 12 units of red, 4 units of white and 12 units of red.
