Post by: luckee on July 13, 2002, 07:38:50 PM: I scanned it after I DL\'d with the old software first..it found a virus..so I just deleted..DL\'d another copy that turned out to be clean..ran a system scan..all clean :)

I looked for something halfway decent about a year ago, when our old computer got infected, and couldn\'t find too much. Nothing that could identify the problem at least. I ended up having to go out and buy Norton :(

Post by: Tyrant on July 14, 2002, 06:40:55 AM: it seems no one here likes mcafee, i\'ve been using it for a very long time now and its been great (or maybe i\'ve just been lucky), but aword of advice never install macfee and norton on the same OS, i dont know why but when these 2 mix together they tend to screw up everything (they did for me atleast).
