-
did you quarentine before infection? or did you open it blindly?
-
Now THATS phucked up. I\'m guessin that the anti-virus company are super-rich...oh yeah.
-
Interesting. Downloading virus software with a virus. Well, sucks for you :D

MCNEILLR!
Welcome man. Just don\'t post as bad as Orphy\'s been posting :)
-
What like spam and stuff?
And DONT make me pull out the old \'change to the spam recipe\' bullshit. Reminds me of a burger i had once.
-
I scanned it after I DL\'d with the old software first..it found a virus..so I just deleted..DL\'d another copy that turned out to be clean..ran a system scan..all clean :)
-
sweetness. I\'ve been infected twice, but they luckily did no damage, and I deleted them through dos.
-
Can someone hook me up with a decent anti-virus program thats free because my computer is in the shitter at the moment.
-
I don\'t know how much luck you\'ll have finding one. I looked for something halfway decent about a year ago, when our old computer got infected, and couldn\'t find too much. Nothing that could identify the problem at least. I ended up having to go out and buy Norton :(
-
Norton 2k2 is the one I just DL\'d. Ive always been happy with Norton products both the antivirus and system works.

it seems no one here likes mcafee, i\'ve been using it for a very long time now and its been great (or maybe i\'ve just been lucky), but aword of advice never install macfee and norton on the same OS, i dont know why but when these 2 mix together they tend to screw up everything (they did for me atleast).
:)

My computer came with Macfee or whatever. I couldn\'t stand the thing. I ended up uninstalling it completely, and putting Norton on the thing.

Norton is very good. Fixed my problem.
