ok the game is Called Neocron and its a MMORPG with a Difference ...its Kind of a FPS as well

i know it sound kind of :crap: , but IF your a Fan Of System Shock 2 just imagine that its like a MMORPG version of that.

it has (near enough) the...


Same Battle System
Roughly Same menu system
the ability to select Classes
a Massive online world (NECRON [city capital] Waste lands Etc)
the Ability to pilot Tanks and hover bikes
the ability to have a Job (like Shenmue)

ok the its a 90+meg Zip file that you can download and instillation is straight forward.if your a 56ker like me then the d/l won\'t take too long (i D/L mine in around afternoon)

The demo is a bit like the training level of System Shock 2 with a little of the Hazard and boot Camp of Half Life / OF. it is desinged to give you chance to taste what the online game is like. it includes

Combat
Menu handeling
Weapon Construction
Hacking (Paradroid 90 mini Game to win hacks)
Comm\'s
and other key areas

[Control]
Controls are mouse and keyboard Ala FPS but they can be customised, as for the menu\'s (10 in total) are handeled via Function keys.

[Gameplay]
Its very CLOSE to System Shock 2 and if you read all the background and history, then its on a PAR with most MMORPG\'s with Clans & Rulers

[problems with the Demo]

ok i know its an Earily version (i think its the first) but the Demo is a Bit Buggy in places also tere is no online feature to the demo.

ok so the Demo buggy and is just a trainning "level" of the full game but that dosen\'t make the Full game a big pile of :crap:.


The Beta Version has been going for nearly a year and seams to be very sucessful, plus the FULL RETAIL Version is Due for Launch in September this could be one to watch out for.

Looks tight.. more like a MMOFPS than an RPG tho. Where do the RPG elements fit it? You may jus see me online since the new junk computer I wrangled outta a friend just barely fits the system requirements for the game. :D

That actually sounds like a great game.  RPG and FPS elements mixed on an online game.  Damn, if it ends up being good, I might do nothing else for a while.  I love RPG elements in other games like that online.
