a question tho, why dont other dev\'s produce games that look like this? it seems only konami have taken the time and effort to understand the PS2.

Post by: PlagueBearer on July 17, 2002, 02:54:32 PM: It took about 3 Hrs to beat the game... and that including time wasted looking around... It was such a disappointment that no matter how good I\'m told the second one is going to be I\'m never going to get it...

Zone of the Enders was the worst game ever on the PS2... only reason most people even bought the game was probably for the MGS2 Demo that came with the game... In fact I thought the MGS2 Demo was more worth the rental fee then Zone of the Enders was...

That\'s taking it to the extreme. Personally, I enjoyed playing ZOE, especially the boss battles. Sure it could have had more, but I think there are far worse games on the PS2 than ZOE. Endgame, anyone? Eve of Extinction? Fur Fighters? I could list well over a dozen games far worse than ZOE.

Sure there were a few upsets (like not being able to defeat anubis:mad: ) but i though it was a really good game.In fact i think it was my second game purchase. Screens look really good by the way. i like the cell shading.

Post by: seven on July 19, 2002, 10:18:15 AM: wow, very nice. I have to admit, at first I was really sceptical with it going cell-shaded. Afterall, the first one was a beauty to look at - but after seeing more and more screens of the new one, it does look very nice aswell and furthermore, it fits the robot/manga theme very well. Bring it on!!! :D

Though I won\'t be playing it again. I can\'t wait till the 2nd.. I don\'t understand why everybody thinks it\'s so bad.. I loved the boss battles and the storyline was okay.

The original ZOE suffered from 1st gen PS2 game-itis I think

Those screens do look pretty good. I\'m curious to see how ZOE 2 would be. I never played the origional one but I really should pick it up some time.
