I don\'t know if it\'s true or not but I wouldn\'t count it out since Rare does own the rights to most of their N64 hits and they are by law allowed to do whatever they want with them including bringing them to any system they wish.

Hells yes!!!!!!
If this is true I\'ll cry....but it will be in a manly gamer type way..

It\'s alright lots of men cry:p anyway it\'s interesting to see if rare will support the PS2 or not even with their loyalty to Nintendo who keeps their pockets well lined by the way. The only downside I see personally is that I\'m not too fond of using the PS2 controller for FPS games I think the N64 had the best controller for FPS games IMO

Actually i think if they make the perfect dark game for ps2, the PS2 controller would be a better controler.

You guys are getting alittle excited for nothing...at the moment. That article is just rehashing old news for the sake of new news. Let me explain. When an online site is having a slack day and the current editor is bored and needs something to report, the general idea is to write up a quick news article that rehashes one of the industry biggest current rumors and insert things like "sources say", "development leaks" and other buzz-phrases that make people jump with joy. That\'s the beatuy of online journalism, espically on a site that doesn\'t have to answer to any actual company...a site like PSXNation.com .
:D
Then again, I\'m not saying it won\'t happen, espically with Rare being so quite as of lately and not indirecting denying or confirming anything. Oh and with SpaceWorld being cancelled. Then again, it has also been cancelled bfore.

I always have been. ;)
I am just stating the truth about how online journalism works. With an online site you need at least daily updates to keep people comin\' back and out of those updates a lot of them need to be juicy. I know this first hand, I use to be an editor for a site.
You\'ll notice that I did not say it wouldn\'t happen, I am just saying that you should take this news with a grain of salt. The same exact information has been goin\' around for months now and everytime it is just new words with the same information.
Keep your hopes up, but wait until you see actual company based web-sites with a news article that is titled, "Perfect Dark Zero - PS2 confirmed!"..
-
i know that, i know i probably shoulnt take it that seriously, but you didnt have to help me be more negative about it. :)
I STILL HOPE IT COMES OUT FOR PS2!!!!

This report has just about as much credibility as any of the other umpteen million reports about Rare and multi-platform development over the past few months. I wouldn\'t count on a damned thing until Nintendo/Rare actually responds to the rumors.. and they\'re supposed to before the year is out. Just remember.. Nintendo owns around 25-40% of Rare. PD0 on PS2 isn\'t going to be easy to pull without a huge change in Rare\'s 2nd-party status.
