Well, last night saw the episode (finally) where Dr Greene dies at the beach.
I thought that it was extremely well done, and Micheal Crichton and his writers should be applauded. I thought they tried to cram too much into a 1 hour episode. I also thought it would have been good if Racheal, his daughter, and Elizebeth sorted their differences out. I suppose this could come next season if she stays on.
Does Elizebeth leave the ER also?
Next week is the finale for the series here. Comes back in January.
Its truly a great show, anywonder its constantly #1.

You mean finale of the season, not series, right?
Elizabeth is coming back though...that\'s what I hear. She will be the widow of Greene. THe actress said on an interview that she\'d like to see Elizabeth get together with that mean short doctor.

He died of cancer.

That was a joke I think, that lesbian DR already has a lady of her own.
-
hehehe, i mean the other mean short doctor...first name robert. He\'s like this really mean guy all the time, but when the time calls for it he can be really sweet.
-
Ohhh, that bastard.
Yeah, I meant season finale. ER better watch out though, as CSI is moving ever so quickly to #1.

I don\'t think CSI has anything up against ER. After so many years it\'s lasted pretty long and strong. Not like Friends. Although I like Friends too, I can tell they\'re running out of material and their jokes are getting raunchier. ER\'s quality has been the same since day one. And they\'ve got a strong fan base too.

Little tidbit: Michael Crichton had the pilot for the show sitting in his desk drawer for 18 years before he actually tried to pitch it. He finished the initial pilot/idea in 1972, i believe.

the doc died ey... ohh well §hhh it happens.

Didn\'t his cancer go into remission? Oh well, that\'s what I get for missing almost all of this past season :(
-
It did, but it came back. It was inoperable this time.

Sorry to get off topic. WFS420, are you Jumpman by any chance? You have the same sig as him and I\'m just curious
Back on subject. I never liked ER. Wasn\'t my genre. It\'s well done. But not a show for me.
