Title: Something wrong with Windows Media Player..
Post by: SwifDi on July 30, 2002, 12:09:52 AM
Everytime I try to play an MP3, it says "Media Changing" for the longest time with no result, and when I try to click "Stop" the program freezes.....

Don\'t use windows media player for mp3s.. I find it to be overkill.. Just use something like winamp.

I\'ve got to agree with Souly there, while the Mp3 playback in WMP is very good it\'s not worth the memory loss, just use a small deticated program like WinAmp or FreeAmp

I use realone player for mp3\'s a lot of people don\'t like it for some reason I don\'t see what\'s wrong with it.

Winamp is by far the best program for listening to audio of any kind.

You are probably right about that but It takes up to much memory on my computer......I get extreme slowdown.

I never get slowdown the only problem is that sometimes if I try to play a cd it\'ll get an error so I play it in Windows media player and it works fine.
