.........You sneeze, and it goes all over the monitor screen?
I\'ve done just that now. There are loads of "rainbow spots" everywhere.
*whipes screen with shirt sleeve *
-
No because I do this stupid thing when I sneeze, I cover my nose.
-
So you\'ve NEVER been caught out by an unexpected sneeze?
-
You know I really hate it\'s when someone wants you to see something on the monitor they for some reason or another must physically touch the screen and leave a nasty smudge. I\'m tired of yelling DON\'T TOUCH THE MONITOR....lesson learned always keep windex handy
-
Why are fingerprints so hard to wipe of monitor screens?
-
I don\'t know and they irritate me espeically if I\'m watching a movie and I see a big smudge right by someone\'s head:( why am I punished.
-
I think it\'s hard to whipe finger prints off is because off all the salt and other things you have. Either way it sux.

It\'s actually the body\'s natural oils that are hard to get off. It\'s like when you\'ve got a pan that gets really oily from the food that you\'ve cooked.
-
why do people feel compelled to touch a screen in the first place?
-
I hate it when I ask a simple question and I keep going in circles. Ah, now I\'m hungry from all my agrivation.

It\'s the closest they can get to touching a naked woman. :nut:

That\'s what I meant but it wasn\'t coming out.

people always feel it neccesary to not only tough my screen, but to push on it. It\'s a tft laptop screen, so I\'m always pissed off when they push hard enough to make the liquid move.

It\'s because of all the pretty colors:facelick:

Is one of them pink?;)
-
Hey Pink is a very manly color after all my idol Richard Simmons has been known for his pink outfits;)
-
Just out of curiosity, has anyone ever tried seeing what happens when you put a magnet up against the monitor screen?
Do the colours go funny like they do with a TV screen?
-
If anyone were to touch my screen...it doesn\'t really bug me too much. I can just buy some of those wipes especially made for electronics. But when someone scratches my screen...that\'s another story...

When you put a magnet up to a screen, it screws up the picture. My sister accidently left a magnet on top of the TV and now we have htis purple spot that won\'t go away.

Try leaving your cellphone right against the monitor. You can see the flickering before you even hear the ring tone. :)

What, you don\'t have a cellphone? WHAT KIND OF A FREAK ARE YOU!
J/k ;)
-
I don\'t really fancy the idea of people being able to get in touch with you where ever you are in the world, I like my privacy sometimes.
And I read that using them too much can cook your brain.
Kind of puts me off a bit.
-
Well, you\'re gonna die from something eventually anyway. So it really doesn\'t bother me all that much.
But I\'m glad about being able to have a cellphone. If I had to have a regular connection, I\'d have to pay for
a) installation fee (which is quite expensive!)
b) monthly fee
I don\'t have to do that with my cell phone. Plus the minute rates are almost as cheap as a regular phone. And I don\'t carry it around me much - besides you can always turn it off for privacy. So all in all I use it as a cheaper alternative to a normal phone. :)
