I bought an optical mouse on Sunday and I like it. It\'s a Logitech Wheel Mouse. I just can\'t seem to get it to scroll in Internet Explorer. Anyone have any hints that I could get this to work?
-
did u install the software that came with it?
oh, and welcome to the 21st century
-
I installed it...twice. Still had problems with it. And what do you mean by \'welcome to the 21st century\'?
-

Wha? That\'s a load of crap. I use a Logitech optical mouse and have no problems whatsoever scrolling with the mouse in IE and other applications.

I probably should have paid the extra twenty bucks for the Microsoft optical mouse. But I like this one. I just wish it would scroll in IE :(

Worst mouse ever. That mouse needs a boost on its signal because the sensitivity is just so low (even at max on the mouse options). That mouse has to be one of the worst for gaming, besides a trackball that is.

MS inteli 3 :) A must for SC / WC3 players :)
-
Then why am I having problems :( Sammy has the exact one I have and it works in internet explorer. What is the wheel function that you have it set at? I have it on Autoscroll right now.
-
MS Intellimouse Explorer is the shiznit.
BTW, Are you using XP? Maybe thats the problem. You might need some updated drivers.

Well.... uh... Actually I just plugged it in. I don\'t even think I\'m running any Logitech software. :)
-
The only optical mice I\'ve tried mess you up when you reach the end of your mouse pad and pick it up to recenter it. The mouse pointer gets epilepsy.
I use my Cordless Freedom LOgitech.

So should I try and delete the software and leave it off?
