Title: I got Onimusha..
Post by: ajoh432 on August 05, 2002, 10:21:33 PM: Just thought I\'d make a thread about it. Anybody remember that game? Since I know a lot of you have played it. This was the one action game I was actually missing out on early when I got my ps2...

I\'m enjoyin the fvck outta it. I currently beat the first boss and he wasn\'t that tough to beat. I couldn\'t really get too far because of the short night.

Can\'t wait till Onimusha 2 comes out.:)

But the rest of the game is pretty good. It\'s got a cool ending, though it also leaves you with a lot of questions.

WORD. Man I remember my dad came in my room and literally told me to STFU, when I was doing that puzzle and the water was rising and I was yelling, "OH SHIT!!! OH SHIT!!!"

That game is fun though. I only rented it over a weekend.

what I payed for it. First time I played it through without rushing
so I didn\'t really notice about the game being supposedly a
bit short. I hope they fix the slight jagginess on the character
models (when for example the player is viewed froma distance)
in Onimusha 2 though. In an interview I read last week,
with the devs of this game they said the backgrounds will even be a bit better technically than the NGC\'s RE remake backgrounds.

Post by: alienmagic on August 06, 2002, 06:24:44 AM: Onimusha was the first game I bought and beat on my PS2. I absolutely loved it. I haven\'t gone back through after unlocking the mini-spirits game, but I think I\'ll do that soon. I\'m definitely looking forward to the new one.

oh yes.... and that\'s what tends to piss me off.. lol When I\'m fighting I normally have use my ears to hear what the boss or somebody is doing cause I can\'t see them.:mad: But all I do is walk closer and then I can see the enemy.

Welp I\'m gonna go play some more since it\'s morning now..:D

I got to the water trap puzzle... And I haven\'t beat it yet. Damn, it sure is a pain. Especially since I have to re-load my save everytime and go through the lever pulling and the floor puzzle. Those are pretty easy tho.

I can\'t stand it tho.. I can\'t figure it out.. It seems impossible. I died 4x on that puzzle... Oh well.. I\'ll have to keep trying.

Post by: alienmagic on August 07, 2002, 04:26:05 AM: I think I died 3 times before I finally got the water trap puzzle right, but i didn\'t think it was too bad. It got just a little easier with each attempt. The only puzzle that gave me a really hard time in the whole game was the last chest by the waterfall. For some reason I just couldn\'t get that one for a long time.

Post by: on August 08, 2002, 11:07:50 AM: The water puzzle is hard the first time, but the second time i got it. Some of the treasure chest ones (Moving the numbers to make them in order) can be a real pain.

Anyways... I beat that puzzle THAT NIGHT of my last post.. lol.. just never had the time to get back here and update... Lots of things have happened the past couple of days.:)
