Title: Old skewl toys....
Post by: on August 07, 2002, 01:55:50 PM: when u were just kids and played with toys (I know we all did) what did u mostly play with. I was a GI JOE kid all the way. And i know some of us here are still kids :rolleyes:

All my GI-Joes met an unfortunate fate involving a small propane torch and Vice Grips.. but I still have a few of my Ghostbuster toys. My StayPuft Marshmallow man kicks ass.

Lego\'s,He-Man,Transformers,GI Joe,Voltron(there was also a similar robot to him that was formed by cars),Gobots,Star Wars,I also remember having a futuristic looking half cowboy half indian character taken from a cartoon series of that time.Damn I wished I remember what it was called.He was so cool.There were also some futuristic gadgets and vehicles.The main bad guy was also very very cool.I hope someone can refresh my mind.

Oh yeah and dinosaurs with weapon armors.Good guys were human and bad guys lizard like.Also from a cartoon series.

OH YEAH!!!!CAPTAIN POWER!!!!!

At one point (before puberty), I had all 4 turtles, plus rocksteady and beebop. I even made the turtles a rack for all their weapons.

So yeah, I played with mostly "boy" toys. Who the hell wants to play with a giant Barbie head anyway? I personally hated the "pink" aisle at toys r us. I loved all that goo stuff they sold in the gumball machines, water guns, and the above mentioned.

After I hit puberty, I stuck with mostly music, movies, video games, books.

One more thing, if anyone is still reading this. When I was young, I couldn\'t wait to make money and be able to buy all the toys I wanted. That is, not having to BEG my parents. Now that I have a job, I don\'t really care much about toys - kinda sucks. Oh well, I supposed I\'d pick a fast car and a respectable DVD collection over a ninja turtle any day. Well, most days.

Yeah I remember those.

I remember making my mom take me to the store to get them. Even if we had to walk. So spoiled....

I didnt think anyone would post in this, considering I dont have an avatar. I feel soo special.
