Title: Madden 2003 vs. NFL 2k3
Post by: Nogoldfx60 on August 08, 2002, 05:45:20 PM: I\'m having a very hard time deciding wether or not MAdden is better or Sega is better. On a piece of paper i scored it out and i came to a tie between points. For the extra features, madden has the madden cards and mini-camp. NFL 2k3 has awesome player intros because they have ESPN now. Also they have replays/highlights of games going around the league at half time or after the game. Both madden and sega have pretty cool franchise modes. I don\'t know which one to choose!!! ahhhh help!

Post by: JBean on August 08, 2002, 05:50:11 PM: just go out and rent both to find out which one you\'ll be happier with. Some stores also let you try out games before you buy \'em. I\'m sticking with Madden myself, but you really can\'t go wrong with NFL 2k3 either.

NFL2k3 revolves simply around it\'s gameplay.

Well thats what I meant, Madden is online as well, so basically NFL 2k3 doesn\'t have anything madden doesn\'t.

NHL is some stupid arcade score fest.
I dont play baseball games

O man, i forgot about Fifa....that game is quite fun. Then again i dont think Sega Sports/Visual Concepts has a soccer game...?

Yes it is. Another thing is you can use any usb keyboard in NFL 2k3, Madden only has on onscreen keyboard (have to use controller to type).

Post by: Ryu on August 13, 2002, 05:14:22 PM: Madden focuses primarily on its extras while NFL2K3 focuses primarily on its season play and gameplay. Both games play great online, but it really comes down to personal preference. In my personal preference, the focus of the game is in how it plays and NFL2K3 just puts up a better show and a better experience than Madden and its running game is just so much better. :D

And I\'m really loving the Minicamp extra. Its incredible. I won\'t quit playing until I achieve the gold trophy. I love the one on Rookie, using the Saints where you must stop McCallister. Its friggin\' awesome.

Actually, you\'re the first person I\'ve heard say that today. All the impressions and reviews say the running game has been balanced and is extremely good.
