Title: If you like Football, the ps2 versions Reign
Post by: Chrono on August 09, 2002, 07:37:17 PM: IGN has finished all their reviews, and the ps2 versions came out on top.. probably beacuse they were both online

Madden got a 8.8 on the XBox & GC and the PS2 version got a 9.1.
NFL2k3 got a 9.1 for xbox and a 9.2 on the ps2.

I could not read the xbox review, so I can\'t tell exactly why it scored lower.

Both versions of NFL2K3 were susposed to be online.. however the xbox won\'t be online till Novemember (susposedly), or speculation reigns for a possible 2003.
That may be reason for a .1 dock.. who knows

PS2 scores were higher because of gameplay and replayibility

both stemming from online play, i presume (which the zealots wont even find out)

Pity Sony havent even announced an adapter release date down here yet!! :mad: The people at EB said they were hoping for Christmas :(

Of course, they usually go a little harder on multi-platform games. I\'ll wait for somebody to tell me off here. *hums*

Rumors speculate that the games does not, but did.. nobody knows for sure at this point.

989 has improved dramatically ever since sony brought them under their wing.. the newest Gameday is light years ahead of the one before (most improve football game, but that is not saying much). I\'ll be excited to see what they produce for next year.

There are rumors about using a USB ethenet of 56k modem and that it works.. but i\'m not all too sure. I\'m wondering if you can play THPS3 with the Sony modem/BB

Post by: Watchdog on August 17, 2002, 09:58:43 AM: To get back on subject, the PS2 versions scored better because they are PS2 versions. There is less slowdown and sharper graphics on the xbox version.

Also, Gamespot gave the football game of the year to NFL 2K2 on the xbox. Guess you spoke a little too soon.

GameInformer rated the gameplay of Madden03 on top, while giving the nod to 2k2 for better graphics (PS2 versions)

I wonder which one matters more to most palyers?
