Title: Adventure
Post by: Rya on August 11, 2002, 01:48:25 AM
Somewhere in Sir J. M. Barry\'s Peter Pan it is written "To die, that is the greatest adventure."  What, in your opinion, is the greatest adventure?

Life is obviously the greatest adventure, containing infinite amounts of other adventures in itself.

I\'ve always considered the "greatest adventure" to be living out your own ultimate dream, whatever that is.

The greatest adventure is to live a pure and perfect life.

A good adventure is living.  IMO

I think the greatest adventure is saving the world from a giant meteor that has been summoned by an evil force which you were cloned from!!!

I won\'t know what the greatest adventure was until it has passed. I\'ve had many, and I thought they were great. I tell you what- ask me on my deathbed.;)

Are you nuts?? That wasn\'t even a... argh.. never mind.

The Greatest Adventure is arguably either King\'s Quest, Monkey Island, or Sam & Max hit the Road.

I second that - Monkey Island was THE adventure game (and MI2 too). I don\'t ever think I\'ll play a game ever again with that kind of atmosphere and overall coolness. :(

As for a \'real\' adventure, I\'d say... Death. No-one knows what\'s gonna happen. It\'ll be something to look forward to (if you\'re old and about to die anyway). :D

The greatest adventure is yet to come;

Trying to take a piss, while reading a book, You know how hard that is?!?!?!

Or taking my dog for a walk, something always happens...
