According to Japanese print magazines anyway.

FAMITSU: Auto Modellista (PS2, Capcom): 9 / 7 / 7 / 7 (30/40)
DORIMAGA: Auto Modellista (PS2, Capcom): 8 / 7 / 8 / 8 (Total: 7,75)
DENGEKI PS2: Auto Modellista (PS2, Capcom): 8 / 8 / 8

I honestly don\'t think these scores are that bad. I mean, Famitsu is a bugger for being harsh when it comes to giving good scores.

I think we\'ll have to see how this one turns out.

I heard that the biggest problem people had with the game, is that you can blast around the circuits without
any use of the brakes. i\'m unaware if it has been changed in the finished product but i\'ll give it a look.

Maybe they did that to make it have an easier leavning curve or maybe not.

I think the controls will definetely be tweaked for the US and European version of the game. Japanese like their games easy and short lived. We dont (thank heavens that is).

Those are not bad scores, by any means. Also keep in mind this is Capcom\'s true first attempt at the racing genre.
I\'ll still be all over it, when it is released.

I duno...a cell shaded racing game looks interesting.

I agree racer, but they better get it out soon.. Cel shading is really starting to look old.

The good thing with this game is that they have been able to include 4 x FSAA. This is because its really 2D or something. i read it in an article but don\'t exactly understand how it could work. Maybe a lot of crock?

Bhah, played it. Very stiff controls causing a lot of bouncing off walls. Cool multi-player but  I was not impressed with the cel shading. GT3 is still my console king of racers.

Rad Racer was a hot game.  The sound track was awesome.  :)
