Yes, very good brand. Very cheap. Unlike dell pcs and other rip off brands. :)

I heard the Tech Support is free and far superior to any of the other brands as well.

Definately the "Build it Yourself" brand is the best you can do.

Build it yourself. ;)

Otherwise I recommend DELL if you don\'t wanna get down \'n\' dirty (but I suggest you do).

We use Dell here at work, they\'re by far and away my fave manufacturer, they leave decent cable lengths and spaces inside for future mods and also look among the best from the outsidside.

They seem to use decent(ish) components too.

I\'ve had nothing but hassle from those two.

Alienware\'s are excellent buy pricey.  I think my next computer would be an alienware notebook though...I\'m getting my niece an Emachine cuz it\'s only $474 besides it\'ll be mostly for downloading music and her occasion "homework" yeah right...too bad I have to share my cable connection with her:(

DO NOT GET AN EMACHINE!

Lowest quality PCs there are.  Even if you\'re just uring it for homework and downloading music, expect the thing to be dead after a year or so.

I think the build it yourself stuff will work. My friend has 4 computers, 2 in his room. And they are all Build it yourself stuff, top notch it seems.

That\'s exactly why I\'m buying it for my niece...I\'m sure I listed that as the main reason for buying such a piece of $h!t...I do know about computers you know

Dells can get pricey, but can be customized to fit your wallet.  They are dependable, offer the top quality components, and have great tech suporrt.  The only thing I dislike is the preloaded crap that came on it.

I have a dell but I had to get a new HD cuz Win ME killed it but the good thing was after I bought Win XP Pro and installed it on the new HD I didnt\' have any of that prinstalled crap on it.  There\'s still like nothing in my program files.  Makes me feel proud almost like I\'m a pc tech..yeah right.

I had a new Dell delivered at work along with about 5 others, all had ME and all had were completely shagged after a week. They came back with 2000 and had no more problems. ME\'s crap, blue-screening all the time and fussy about software. 2000\'s the way to go on a Dell, that or XP.
