Has anyone else seen a movie called "Alien abduction : the McPherson tape", i dont know why but i was watching it with some friends and we were all $hitting it the whole way through especially the end, i still $hit it every time i see a red light!!, i think the thing that made it scary was the fact that it is real!
There are no special effets or anything and it is filmed buy a teenager on a digital video camera:( :)

*cough* blair witch
-
Blair Witch 1 was pretty good. Number 2 suxed donkey\'s nuts.

of course, what we cant see is always scarier than what we can
-
Exorcist
Damn that movie scared me. I can\'t stand to be around people possessed by evil entities anymore.
-
gotta agree with u there mm
-
The Changling - decent horror.
Other than that, not a lot...What use to be scarey, isn\'t so scarey anymore. A lot of it changes when you grow older.
As for decent slasher flicks. I recommend The SleepWay Camp series.
-
I think that \'Cube\' was one of the scariest movies I have ever seen. It was pretty cheap and crappy, but its concept and all the blood was what was really scary.
-
nothing really.. most "scary" movies i laugh at.. When i was a kid i found the orignal Nightmare on Elm Street scary.. Now i laugh at that too.
-
cube?
only thing scary about that film was the atrocious acting
scariest film i ever saw was "gliltter"
-
Pokémon... I find it very scary.
And Blair Witch 1 :)

So you admit to actually seeing it? It wasn\'t that bad...
-
If you are home alone at night turn off the lights and watch Evil Dead 1. That will freak you out.
-
from all the horror movies ive seen (scream, scream 2, i know what you did last summer.....) they all sucked. the only movie that has truly scared me and coulnt sleep cuz of it, is definately SIGNS.
-
Cube was lame.. Very gay movie. Crappy plot, acting and the effects were cheesy at times too.. 13 ghosts, now there\'s some good effects.
Most horrors have crappy plot these days.. Blair witch was different that\'s what made it "scary" i laughed though :) But most things have been done to death. I want something NEW in horror.. Give me 3D headsets. Where u can look around. Now dat would be scarry
-
i still $hit it every time i see a red light!!, - PS2 _-\'_\'-_PS2
That\'s gotta be horribly embarassing on a date ya know. How do you explain it to the cops. "Sorry sir, but I couldn\'t stop at that red light... I\'m on my last pair of undies. Wait a sec.. is that a red light up on top of your squad... *(Squirts)*"
-
Scariest movie huh...
SIGNS
-
Night of the Living Dead.
The original one. Sheesh....couldn\'t sleep well for a week.
-
actually, i prefer the remake
always did like tony todd
-
Scariest movie is possibly The 6th Sense, and the Others had some moments. The Exorcist is up ther too, but not much else.
However I think it\'s a testament to the strength of the medium that no movie I\'ve ever seen can inspire the feelings of fear that the Silent Hill series does.
-
6th sense? I thought that was pretty tame.
the only movie to disturb me EVER was Signs, and I\'ve seen pretty much all of them.

It was actually the other way around for me. I didn\'t find Signs to be even remotely scary, heck the aliens were hilarious. I liked the movie, but for entirely different reasons.
-
1. Poltiergiest (sp?)
2. The Shining
3. Event Horizon
Yes, I did think that Event Horizon was scary.
-
Bone Collector. Not horror, but pretty damn scary all the same.
Children of The Damned also got me freaked.
-
The first Halloween was pretty great for a scare considering how low budget it was. I think it\'s the music. As for Blair Witch, I\'m sorry, but me and my uncle laughed the entire time throughout that movie. What a joke.
-
I fell asleep watching Blair Witch, twice.
-
i thought BW had good aspects to it. But it really was a disapointment
-
Am I the only one who hasn\'t watched Blair Witch? I watched part 2, it was alright, but the ending had WTF written all over it.
-
Anyone seen "St. FrancessVille experiment" its a BW knock off, but mcu scarier IMO
I also thought "Event Horizon" was scary.
Lets see
"Rose Red"
that was good also
-
The Shining
When I was little, Stephen Kings \'Sleepwalkers\' creeped the hell out of me... damn cats! :)
I watched the restored version of The Exorcist last night. I guess it was pretty creepy when it was first released, but nowadays it isn\'t really that scary.
-
No doubt is it Event Horizon.
But King Kong was damn scarry when I was younger.
-
U see this movie "Signs" that u r all talking about is that the new one with Bruce Willis?...=]
-
-
So i\'m guessing it some older movie?. ok i am not as old as some of u guyz!!!!:)=]
-
The Others
Exorcist
Halloween
Event Horizon
Alien/Aliens
The Shining
Signs (on a whole other level tho)

do you live in a cave?
-
Blair Witch Project did me laugh... actually, i\'ve never seen a scary movie.
-
go rent "suspiria" by Dario Argento and tell us it didnt disturb you in any way
-
OK. Never heard about that movie but i\'ll try to rent a copy. ;)
-
*head explodes*
you never heard of dario argento?
one of the finest italian horror/suspense directors ever
outside of lucio fulci, that is
-
I\'ve heard about Dario Argento very much, but not about that movie, perhaps it has another name in spanish version....
-
I forgot The Ring! Excellent Japanese horror movie. And of course Hollywood is doing a remake so they can destroy a great movie concept.
-
I actually live in a restored cave anyway, it\'s Mel gibson not Bruce is that why u were saying that i lived in a cave mm??
im gonna give up soon=]
-
Scarryiest Movie Ever: Cacoon!!
Half nekked wrinkly old people in a swiming pool.... *Shudders* God damn the man who made that scourge on humanity.. and then approved a sequel!

Oh yes its in that exact same order for me too.
1. Poltergeist scared the sh!t outta me when i was a kid. i havent seen it since... By the way i cant look at blank white walls or a fuzzy channel on tv anymore.
2.The Shining was very scary or maybe i\'m a wuss. That house was pretty freaking creepy...
3.Event Horizon just watch the movie...
-
Oh the Macpherson tape? I remember that! its not real. It has the guy from wrongfully accused the "one armed one eyed one legged ect man" he played "kurt"
-
Yeh i know its not real but i wasn\'t going to say that coz it would kinda spoil it for everyone!!!=]

I think it\'s worth it. :)
-
blair witch
signs
communion
all of these moves were not scary to me untill i got home and was by my self then they started freaking me out
-
I personally thought The Excorcist was a funny movie. I\'m not sure why, though. :)
Signs was a pretty good movie, all the others are just plain hilarious and somewhat disappointing. Not because they sucked (most did) but, because the people I hoped weren\'t going to die, died. :p
-
Thanx Samwise, i\'ll buy it on 4th September, the launch day.

I think I will too! I just watched it again... damn, I had forgotten how great it is! Wonderful director.
Be sure to turn the volume up real nice and you\'ll get a few shocks and surprises... :D I can highly recommend it.

2. The Shining
I saw that movie when i was about 9 and id wasnt scary the least bit. When the mom started seeing ghosts she saw a guy in na dog costume drinking water out of a bowl in a room at the end of a hallway. How is that scary? I laughed my head of!
home videos
Ummm.....isnt that a show on cartoon network\'s adult swim?
Scariest movei ever- Excercist rm.
-
Racer, you didn\'t list bone collector did you? Oh my...
A very scary movie at the time for me was Exorcist 3.. I was a junior in college and at UF back in 91 we had a serial killer running around. It was very bad. He actually cut the people up and posed them so when people walked in they were horrified. He cut one ladies head off and put it on the mantle. He killed 4 or 5 people over the course of a couple weeks.
Anyway, I went and saw this movie in the theater at that time. Oh my. Scared the crap out of me. The scene where they had all those cups of blood in the room and not one drop on the floor was so much like what was going on in real life..
-
What was wrong with BC? I couldn\'t get into a cab for ages after that movie.
-
I just thought it was so damn not good. To each his (or her) own.
Terrible script. I hate movies with no side plot or no extra things going on. Shows no dimension.
Kiss the girls is another movie like that. Terrible boring straight to the point script.
-
Eh, I suppose. Interesting concept though.

What the heck are you talking about? Maybe its that crap TV version that I never could make it through, but the Kubrick version of The Shining is frickin\' awesome and it is not a dog bowl the guy in the dog custom is drinking out of - at least not in the Kubrick version.
Go now! Rent it! It has Jack Nicholson in it for christ sake! Not to mention Kubrick directed it.
-
All work and no play makes jack a dull boy.
-
Samwise i\'ll give you my review about THE OTHERS :p

Are you like 12? Still watch Cartoons ,eh? I meant Home movies, as in videos you taped with your family when you were like 9 or 10. Some people........ :)

ALIEN....
Scariest atmosphere, scariest monster. No psychological horror here.
