I just watched this movie and found it to be pretty interesting. It\'s about some kids that conspire to kill one of their classmates.
 (samwise)
Anyways, I just wanted to know if anyone has seen it.

Thanks for spoiling it. ;)
Unless of course that is widely known before you actually watch the movie.

I own the DVD and have read the book. It\'s a true story, and the movie is very true to the book.
It was directed by the same guy who directed "Kids". Also a good movie, if you haven\'t seen it.

I wonder why I haven\'t heard of this. It sounds interesting. I\'m going to try to find it.
I thought "Kids" was impressive and shocking, but I was disappointed by the message it sent to the nation about young people. There\'s a good book called "Scapegoat Generation" that describes our national obsession with villifying children, and I think "Kids" was one of the movies that supports that. Instead of portraying the vast majority of young people who are ordinary, school-attending, law-abiding members of society, "Kids" focused on a few fictional streetfighting AIDS-spreading hate mongers. It was so effective, I didn\'t realize until later reflection how false it was.

Kids was directed by Harmony Korine right? He\'s young himself I remember correctly. But of course, that doesn\'t make him incapable of spreading false information. :)

I\'m glad you brought up Harmony Korine - he\'s got a couple of other shocking movies: "Gummo" and "Julien Donkey-Boy". I highly suggest seeing Gummo if you can find it. I would say it\'s about 3x more shocking than "Kids", and also deals with the underbelly of our nation. If you watch Gummo and JD-B, you may think that it\'s utter trash at first, but the acting is superb, so much so that I completely believe that most of the movie was unscripted. See GUMMO!!!
Edit: Korine was a writer for Kids, but directed Gummo and Julien Donkey-Boy.

Ah yeah, you\'re right. Got that mixed up. I\'ll see if I can find the other two movies (Julien Donkey-Boy was filmed digitally I believe, so that would make another reason for me to watch it :D).
BTW, that actor in Kids (the \'main\' kid; the nasty boy) - yuck, he\'s really creepy. :sleepy:
