Post by: kopking on August 25, 2002, 01:31:01 PM: just signed in today and i noticed the main page has all changed, it shows you avatar etc etc, or am i the only one to see this.... its meant to show your avatar, but mine says none selsected.... and i cant see it oday. apart from a red x... can anyone esle see my pic??? it was like this the other day, but when i repied to a thread, it pop back,,,,,,, hmmm guess ill have to look for a new one, or some one can make me gif.... if i get them the pics

Overall i think it looks great, I told my friend about this forum, and he is thinking about joining in, but he is skeptic. (Lazy P.O.S.). I like how the signatures are in there own little boxes. Looks great mm.

If you don\'t like the way something is, TOUGH! Last time I checked mm runs these forums, if he wants to make changes so be it. Me personally, I liked all the new additions. I\'m glad he is puting most of them back. Even if I didn\'t like something, I\'D KEEP MY MOUTH SHUT AND JUST BE GLAD I HAVE A NICE FORUM TO POST IN.

It takes a long time to put these hacks in, and you should all show your appreciation. Thats just my two cents, I could care less if you agree or disagree.

Ok, I just read the suggestions thread. Why would you just take a picture of the layout, and say it blows? I mean, come on, mm did put work into this thing, and saying that obviously did affect him in some way. You don\'t like the changes, go ahead and comment, so it can be improved, but don\'t do that. If you really can\'t stand it, use the old style template.

Well excuse me for using the suggestion forum. All I thought was basically that there was no problem with the original layout, so why change it? I mean I\'m not gonna start a petition against the new one, I just was wondering why the change?

Shock the pic was to show what I was talking about because initially I did believe it was an error with my browser. All I said was the new layout blew, others as mm stated agreed so don\'t point your finger at me.

But I\'m gonna add my final suggestion which is: Close the suggestion forum. It seems when you make one everyone just gets pissed off and start assuming that you think the entire forums suck. Your automatically unappreciative and selfish. Therefore, whats the point of making a suggestion if everyone gets riled up about it?

I hold no grudge with anyone. But for you to come out and say something "blows" is inappropiate. You can make suggestions, that is exactly what the suggestion forum is for. It\'s not there to criticize someones time and effort. The only reason I said anything is because I don\'t feel some of you understand that it is a prevliege to have forums as nice as these and be able to post in them. And it takes alot of time to put new things in. And for you to come out and blantlantly say it "blows" just isn\'t right.

Again this is my opinion and I\'m not wanting to fight with you or argue with you. I think I have made my point, if you can\'t understand that\'s fine. The least you could do is say you missworded your post in suggestions. Cause in my mind I think you did just that.

I see your point Vapor, and again no hard feelings. I may have blown it up to be a bigger issue than it was. And my first post wasn\'t directed straight to you. So maybe our dispute is settled, I hold no gruge against you or anyone else. I wanted to make my point and you wanted to make yours. I can live with that.

I guess what I was trying to say is, have a little more tact. And suggestions can be used well, and suggestions have been used before. An example would be the Journals section.

Oh, and also, the user name color and user title color fields are still backwards.
