More of the same isn\'t always bad tho.

Especially when it\'s X-men.
-
did it just get more pretentious in here, Or is it just mm?
-
no, im not the only one that hated the first x-men movie
nor is there less than one person in here who didnt know that x-men existed before the movie
-
I hated it. It was a dissapointing adapation of a comic I had been so wanting to see made into a movie. The same applies to Spider-Man....
They both bite the big one.
-
As a standalone movie for non-fans.. I thought it was rediculous. That whole big gyroscope thing which turned normal people into Mutants looked like something outta a 50\'s B-movie flick. - LAME -
As a representation of the Xmen to others from a fan\'s point of view.. it raped the comic and took a big dump on it\'s still warm dead body. The biggest dissapointment.. no history between Sabertooth and Wolverine. That\'s one of the biggest rivalrys in comic history, and they just blow it off without even a hint of them knowing each other prior to fighting in the movie? What a joke.
Sorry.. not interested in part 2.
-
^^ This man speaks the truth. And don\'t even get me started on Rouge.. They ruined yet another perfectly decent character with that movie.
It was crap.
-
I liked X-Men the movie and Spiderman the movie. I can\'t wait for X-Men 2!
-
I agree with LIC and SF that, as a comic adaption, it sucked. But for entertainment value, I thought it was the best of that year. It kept me awake for the two hours (or however long it is).
-
I didn\'t really have any knowledge about Xmen comics before the movie (yes, some people actually don\'t read comics  ), so entertainment wise it was \'alright\' - as good / bad as any other mindless action movie.
-
Same, not so much knowledge about the comics, I just knew who the characters were. Movie was decent, wouldn\'t mind seeing part 2.

Shutup if you don\'t know anything. Sabertooth stole Wolverine\'s dogtags remember? Have you read Origin?
-
I thought it was alright. I don\'t read comic books so I was just watching it as an action movie and I\'d say I\'ve seen many many worse movies.
-
I didn\'t like the first one. BTW, speaking about cinema, anybody knows when is coming out Tiger & Dragon 2?
-
The special effects were impressive in the first one if nothing else!

I will only see Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon 2 if Zhang Ziyi survived that plunge into the canyon. :D
-
i would only see CTHD2 if ang lee was fired and replaced

Oh please.. stole his dogtags.. whatever. Yeah.. there\'s a real hint that they knew each other. They didn\'t even make it look like he stole them for a REASON.. it was more like they came off on accident durring their fight. Oh.. he picked them up off magnetos desk.. ohhhh wow. Real strong hint there.
These two have been fighting for YEARS after Weapon X.. mostly because Weapon X\'s brainwashing made them both think that they knew and hated each other. I mean.. he killed the love of Logan\'s life, SilverFox, for Christ\'s sake.. and Wolverine DOESN\'T know him?? WTF?
Dogtags or not.. having them not know each other is inexcusable.
