It seems Real Madrid will be in the finals again this year. But i dont think they will win it. It would be kinda boring to see them winning again and again. But I think it would be fun to see either Manchester United, Valencia, or....Inter Milan to win it!!! ha ha i just want to see Ronaldo kick ass!!!:D

Surprise surprise.

Regardless of how easy a draw United get, they still won\'t win it.

Ronaldo needs to hurry up and get out of italy and move to spain. If he leaves inter i would rather him go to another team like Barcelona rather than Real Madrid.;) The rivalry between these two teams needs to come back, and that wont happen if Ronaldo goes to madrid.

Ronaldo isn\'t signing for Real :D Inter have pulled out of the deal.

And Jaye, we have as good a chance as anybody, you\'ll see. We have more chance than Bolton!!

Ronaldo will never go to Barcelona. He was there some years ago, and he was treated very bad. He doesn\'t like Barcelona, he loves Madrid and if goes out of Inter, destiny is Madrid. Furthermore, Barcelona has not cash to buy the player nor pay the year.

PD: Rick the deal is alive. We\'ve some hours left to sign Ronaldo.

Anyone has a better chance than Bolton, especially considering the way they are playing right now, they\'ll never get any where near qualifying for Europe on current form. I\'m not expecting overnight success for them. As a person with both feet firmly on the ground, and his head out of the clouds, I know it will take at least 2-3 seasons to get together any sort of decent team. Sam Allardyce has already started putting the first building blocks to future success in place be re-signing Youri Djorkaeff, getting hold of Jay Jay Okacha , possibly getting Taribo West and aparently beating the deadline to sign Ivan Campo on loan.

As for United, I don\'t class them as one of the better teams in Europe, I even reserve judgement as to whether they are the best in England, In all honesty, I don\'t think the premiership is all that it\'s cracked up to be. Uniteds defence is their Achilles heal (even with Ferdinand), and because of this, I think any strong European team with any class up front will tear them apart.

Just read the Ronaldo deal is back on for something like £20million plus Morientes, then Inter are going to sell Morientes straight away to Barcelona, and then buy Hernan Crespo from Lazio!!!!!!! Italian transfers are really f***ed up! AC Milan have just bought Nesta from Lazio for £18million, quite a bargain I think, Man Utd should have gone for him.

Post by: Seed_Of_Evil on August 31, 2002, 06:33:35 AM
Hahah, yeah!! Ronaldo\'s signed for Real Madrid: GREAT :bounce:

It\'s not very sure that Morientes arrives to Barcelona, but, anyway, it was a great deal. BTW Rick, it isn\'t 20 million pounds, it\'s 20 million € (big difference).

Europe should shake: Real Madrid = Ronaldo, Zidane, Raul, Figo, Roberto Carlos, Helguera... :D

uniteds defence is weak, the prob last year was blanc.... so they have sold/let go of the other cb, and bought rio, who is very good, but the weak link is still there... blanc is not good enough anymore

Another uneducated football watcher!! Second half of last season, Laurent Blanc was one of the best centre backs in the country. Bash me all you like, but if you watch all the games he played in after xmas, he was very impressive. Yeah he\'s lost his pace, but he is still a very good player. Bugger about Ronaldo :D

not really, i just dont rate him...... theres prob player i thin are very good, but you dont.... i just dont think he is good enough to warrant a 1st team place everytime

Maybe, with Rio back from injury, and O\'Shea impressing a lot, I doubt he\'ll make the first team much after christmas

I hope that Dortmund will reach the second group draw, and I\'m sure that they will.

My predictions:

Group A: Arsenal, Dortmund :smokin:
Group B: Valencia, Liverpool
Group C: Madrid, AEK Athens (bye bye Roma)
Group D: Lyonnais, Internazionale
Group E: Rotterdam, Newcastle (sorry Juve)
Group F: Manchester, Leverkusen :rpissed:
Group G: Munich :rpissed: , La Coruna (bye Milan, the most overrated club of the last 10 years)
Group H: Barcelona, Galatasaray

Post by: Seed_Of_Evil on September 01, 2002, 07:34:37 AM
kopking, inter sold him for 45 million € :

Real Madrid will pay 35 million € in 4 years. If Ronaldo hurts the knees, Madrid will stop the payments.

Furthermore, and in order to complete the amount signed, 45 million, Inter will be able to choose a Real Madrid player in January 2003 among the offers of Madrid.

Any player among the ones Real Madrid will offer to the club, rated in 10-12 million€. These players can be Raul Bravo, Munitis, Miñambres... etc. If Inter doesn\'t like any of them to choose, then, Real Madrid will have to pay the amount (10 million).

ok. not heard of him b4...... has he just broke into the 1st team????

cant believe bolton have got a player from real madrid
Title: UEFA Champions League Draw
Post by: Seed_Of_Evil on September 01, 2002, 10:20:19 AM
Yeah kopking, Raul Bravo was in the second team. This year it\'s the first season in the first team. He\'s a good defender, many people say he\'s Roberto Carlos\' successor.

Bolton signed Ivan Campo. He\'s a player that had got very bad luck in the team. After several serious mistakes, the player got depressed and played only a few. He\'s a good player, but not a great one, you know...

yeah, but im mean bolton.. saying that they have signed some good players this year......

so how young is this guy, ive not heard of him b4 now.....

ill have to play champ and look at him..lol

successor to r.carlos...... must be good then, does he play in the same style as r.carlos, or is he more defensive than him??

Post by: Seed_Of_Evil on September 01, 2002, 10:36:07 AM
He\'s 21 years old, and the style of his play is very similar to Roberto Carlos. Notice that in the pre-season he hasn\'t player very much but goaled 2 times (great goals). Here you have more info about him (photo): http://www.iespana.es/rmadrid-cantera/RBravo.htm

I\'ve heard that before, Milan has always bought expensive (good?) players, but they never seem to get the full potential out of them!

btw Ronaldo was sold for 47 euro to be precise
