It\'s expensive, but also the fastest card out there. I don\'t have one, so I can\'t comment on drivers (*cough* mm *cough*).

...at least until Ati releases the next version, since they seem to be ahead of nVidea\'s development cycles.

people have been talking about Battlefield 1942 or whatever the game\'s name is having problems.
ATi\'s drivers haven\'t been as big a problem as they were since the Radeon8500, they seem to be getting their things straight....finally

But if you can affor the card then by all means get it.

I plan on getting one as soon as it comes within my reach (like $250~)

ATI drivers can be difficult to work with but their tech support has worked with me pretty well in the past.

If you want performance though, don\'t buy the all-in-wonder.

Lol, everyone says that.

ATI\'s drivers are great now... they used to suck, but they\'ve improved a ton.

Dont listen to anyone who says ATI\'s drivers suck... that\'s an old problem. :P

But yes, it is expensive...  I\'d wait for the price to drop.  No videocard is worth $400, IMO.

there\'s a reason why "everyone says that"

Because they\'re close minded and living in the past?

I tell ya, TeleVision sucks. Radio is where it\'s at.

Bah, mm, everyone used to say that.  The only people that say it now are nvidia whores who don\'t know anything about ATI.

I plan on buying Ati\'s new card....that is, after I fake my own death and collect the life insurance so that I can afford it.

I have the ATI 7500 A-I-W. Works fine for what I need it to do and that is - play my PS2 online via PC monitor.

Be sure to wipe your comp clean from all previous drivers. Most problems I\'ve heard about can be lead back to old drivers.

Anyhoo, congrats you now have something that I want you lucky sob!!!

Since you told us you bought it you\'re gonna have to give us impressions on the card.  It\'s like an unwritten rule of these forums.

it is installed! I am DL 3dMArk2001SE, I have a 250 Watt power suplly after all...it works fine anyways (thre are 2 power connections (one to the Power supply and one to the Harddrive).  I will give you guys my benchmrks when i get it DL and run 3dmark...it looks good so far. I only have a 4x agp Port tho...oh well it beats 2X...I should be able to report my benchmarks in about 10-15 mins.
