nice Skyline, I plan on importing one within the next 5 years, but that\'s only if nissan doesn\'t bring a non-detuned version to the US.

You can import anything from a 25k r32-r33 to a 150k tuned r34 :D

After watching the WRX sell out , Mitsubishi bring the Lancer stateside, I\'m sure Nissan will give the Skyline some kind of effort in the US.

yeah it\'ll come to the states, but I\'m willing to bet that it\'ll be a shell of it\'s former self.  Probably have a max hp of 220-240, and be marketed as a "cute" car.

I wouldn\'t say that either since the real WRX was the sti version which hasnt seen our shores to suck yet :)

Yes..sucky 224 as in stock wrx. Sti is going to be 260-290. Plus upgraded suspension and braking.

I dont know why ppl emphasize that so much. seeing how most changes are simple. Like and exhaust change from a 2" down pipe to 2.5.. along with the rest of the piping. Different length headers\'....different muffler..less boost..etc. Different heads..hell get one from japan..problem solved :) US spec with left hand drive and same power :)

All of that is easily fixed, espescially if one really likes said car.

theo..the sti hasnt been confirmed as of yet..only speculated to be realesed around the new EVO\'s.

I know a guy that has a 240SX that looks similar to these.  He even imported the Silvia engine from Japan.  It is black with a different shade of black detailing.

Hmmmm, drifting is pointless and stupid, but I guess it requires more skill than drag racing, so what the heck.  If you can afford to replace your tires often, then go for it.
