Title: Mazda 6 - Whats your views?

Whats you views on them? Do they have good performance?

If it was 7, then I\'d be there, just seems alittle slow of the mark, havent driven it yet though.

Post by: luckee on September 05, 2002, 01:34:02 AM: I dont know the exact soecs in the US..I just know the suspension is rather sloppy and it comes with a V6. The body molding does make it look MUCH better though.

Over all..its a rather sucky car here :(

OMG u guys got screwed the lumina SS i\'m speaking of is a 325HP V8, all u guys got was a freakin lumina LS only with a new body.

also the thing about this car is that its pretty cheap (i.e. compared to most other cars) $25,000 last time i asked and the LS and LTZ models are even cheaper.

The Lumina in Australia is a Holden Lumina SS, they are pretty sweet, though Holden (HSV) make alot better and more powerful cars (that don\'t get exported to the USA in bulk).

The new Pontiac GTO is very similar to the Lumina. The AUS version of the GTO is a pretty good car, though a prefer the GTO\'s bodykit.

The GTO is based on the Monaro, its being built by Holden and exported as a Pontiac. It uses the same internal stuff, just a different body kit.

It was released in December last year if memory serves me correctly, so it deffinately wouldn\'t have been anywhere else before that.

Sure, there have been Monaro\'s in the past, but not for a very long time. I think the last one was in the early 80\'s. Thats why I am saying it hasn\'t been out for that long.

Were talking Monaro right, not Lumina. They are two very different cars.

WTF? What do you mean by "it\'s actually legal in Australia"? Why wouldn\'t it be? :sconf:

It\'s an ok car I guess, but I\'m not creaming my pants over it. Only 50 year olds drives Mazda\'s. :)

Check out Mazda USA. The car doesnt have clear lights. Its something about the rear lights needing to be red.

Are not Illegal everywhere in the US..varies from state to stae..hell, even county to county from what i have seen.

What you speak of are the altezza style...which are very much legal b/c of the red reflector. That also depends on the style of alteeza light.

As for your previous post...how come I have seen monaro\'s at racetracks here for the last few years?

And in some States, clear tail lights are illegal since they do not reflect well in the dark. In the dark, a parked car\'s clear tail lights wouldn\'t reflect headlights and could be hit.

Well...I may have gotten Bahrain confused with Saudi Arabia. Sorry if I offended you. They lived in Saudi too. Anywhere they went, they had to have their ID and their marriage certificate. Saudi is extremely strict. My mom wasn\'t even allowed to eat with my father in public restaurants. Women aren\'t good enough, apparently, in Saudi.

See, they look very similar. You have been mistaken into seeing cars on the track that look like Monaro\'s, which are not.
