I may just be blind, but I don\'t even see discussion right now.

I hardly used either really, so it doesn\'t matter much to me, but I think it would be good to bring it back.  If people don\'t have a place to bash things and display their fanboy ways, it will only spill over to discussion eventually.

Bring back both if possible. I enjoyed the Console Discussion, and Console Debating was good for some things..

Bring it back. I was starting to have fun. Besides, all the fanboys will start posting their crap in Main Forum or OT. Both of the forums were good.

While maybe not productive per se their it was a great place to come here and get other console news. And the debating forum was always a nice place to see some ignorant fools.

I say leave it... every post that started out good just turned into a flame war.  But then fanboys will post stuff in OT or the main forum.

Some kind of forum for console debtate is needed, maybe with more rules...

I say bring it back. It was a useful sift to weed out most of the crap opinions and ignorance. Yeah, it musta sucked being a modererator in there.. but that\'s what Console Discussion is for. The intelligent and openminded conversations... to give people who actually wanted to discuss, instead of constantly argue, a break.

I\'ve got a feeling that a few days down the road people are gonna start mistaking console discussion for debate, and will start trying to fill it up with crap flames and petty arguments.

It being gone is kinda cool, I never used it much anyway. I do think the trolls will just do their thing on another board here though.

Actually, there wasn\'t much to mod.  There was still quite a bit of one liners that bashed one system and lacked any substance of an arguement...but when one of the admins and a mod or two partake in the same manner, it\'s kind of hard to say no to everyone else...same with the pety arguements.

If the mods stick to it, that won\'t be a problem.
