Title: Gameshark 2 not working on backups?

I recently purchased a new psx 2 and the gameshark version 2.  My friend has a psx 2 and a gameshark 2(Not version 2).  He is able to load the gameshark boot up disk and play back up or copies of games.  But he must manually eject the disk via the knife trick.  I cannot get my psx 2 to do this.  After I boot up gameshark ver.2, and put in my backup, it says please insert a psx 2 game.  I tried to use his gameshark boot up disk, but that will not boot up either.  Does anybody know how to solve this problem.  Thanks

Yes, don\'t "backup" your games.

Buy your games... if you\'re cheap, but them used.
