Title: HUD for PS2
Post by: Styx on September 10, 2002, 12:55:45 PM
This in planet PS2 today.

For most of us, online gaming is the way of the future but in a story released today by Famitsu (through GamePro) it was reported that Sony might have more than one trick up their sleeves for the future, and it’s called a head-mount display. With the display, users can view game images from all directions. The product, which is tentatively called the “PUD-J5A”, measures in at 200 by 100 millimeters and features two 0.44-inch 1.8 million-pixel LCDs attached to overhead-type headphones.

In addition to working with PlayStation 2, Sony stated the PUD-J5A will also be compatible with DVD players and VCRs. The display will be released in Japan on September 26th for 59,800 yen ($503 USD). Pre-orders for the device begin on Thursday at Sony’ Japanese PlayStation web site.

It woud be cool if it wasnt for the cash
