Title: Modem problems...
Post by: Solid Snake 88 on September 14, 2002, 05:50:06 PM
I went out an bought a 56k modem that can do phone calls (my old one couldn\'t). I hooked it up, plugged in the phone wire, turn on Callsoft, answer a call... and the sound goes through my internal PC speaker. Um, wtf. I can\'t seem to get it to go through my soundcard into my headset.
Any ideas? I need help. :(

Try to use your windows phone-caller and tell me if the sound goes through your internal speaker.

I have Windows XP, I don\'t think it has the phone-caller.
Where is it? (location on comp)

Click start button > programs > accessories, the there should be a phone dialer on the list (Win 95 has anyway!)

if not do a manual search of your computer for Dialer.exe
