I used to own an Official Sony component cable, but dad sold it to a client! I am gonna get T4 soon and want to play progressive scan, so I need to buy (rather, dad needs to buy) another cable.
I have seen that there are quite a number of different ones available. I don\'t care about price, as quality is the most important factor.
Are the OPS2 ones the best?

I went with Monster Cables...they are the best.....

Why are they the best though?

I cant imagine there being too many brands available for the ps2. Anywho, you wont be dispointed with monster cables.
-
THey are the best because they cost the most.

they are Shielded, and they have the best loss to Distance ratio (that neans there isnt that much loss for 10ft or more.....mine went from my room (my PS2 is in there) to my tv in the living room (so my folks could watch dvd\'s (before i bought them A DVD player)) and it went 15 or 20 feet.......plus the colors are REAL Sharp......got to Monstercable.com to see for yourself.

Monster cables are a ripoff. Yes, they will probably produce an image that looks good. Will you be able to tell the difference between it and any other cable? Answer = no.

Well Coredweller whats your suggestion then?

Buy the cheapest one he feels comfortable with. I bought the Sony cable, which is about in the middle, pricewise.
