What brand clothes do you really, really like? When I was over in the US last year, I really digged Abercrombie & Fitch, bought a heap of stuff from them. I also liked Old Navy, pretty cheap, but they had some cool stuff.
I also really dig Quicksilver and Billabong.
-
none
i hate clothes that have labels all over them
i refuse to be a walking ad for companies
seriously, ill will put an article of clothing back on the rack if it has the companies logo plastered on it
case in point
(https://psx5central.com/community/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fa1008.g.akamai.net%2F7%2F1008%2F521%2F0911%2Fwww.abercrombie.com%2Fanf%2Fonlinestore%2Fcollection%2F3564_01_l.jpg&hash=7aef80c683b491e3e3b0648edc5e969efed54d2f)
a perfectly good long sleeve T-shirt ruined
AND they\'ll charge $50 for it
but for one company i like? doc martins
ive always owned a pair of thier shoes since i was 12
-
yup i agree mm, I never buy any clothes that have big logos or labels on \'em. It\'s just butt ugly and tacky and most of all pointless.
-
I\'m not a ponse, I just wear what is comfortable, don\'t care if it\'s expensive or not.
-
I shop at thrift stores a lot. I\'ve got some sweet T\'s that are vintage. Like a tan t shirt with a glitter iron-on of a 1977 Caddy ElDorado. Or my red w/ white stripes NASA football jersey. Or my Heathcliff shirt & vintage Wrangler bootcuts. Total cost: less than $20. But if I gotta buy new clothes, I like to get plain Tshirts from Jcrew. They\'re cut a little tighter so it doesn\'t look like I\'m wearing a dress. I hate baggy clothes. There\'s nothing that looks funnier than a tall skinny guy in baggy clothes.
-
Well I wear Tommy Hillfiger, Nautica, Ralph Lauren, NIKE, Calvin Kline.
Large logos don\'t bother me. As long as they don\'t ruin the shirt. I won\'t buy something that has the whole front or back plastered with a logo, those types of shirts make it look like you want to be noticed for the clothes you wear. And that\'s not why I buy namebrand clothes at all, I buy them cause I like the styles and or colors.
I\'ve been known to pick up a Wal-mart shirt before. It just really depends on if I like what it looks like. I don\'t have to wear namebrand clothes all the time. I have many off brand clothes that look very nice and cost half as much as what I\'ve listed above. If I think the shirts or jeans look nice then I will buy them.
But I would have to say my favorite brand of clothes is Tommy or Nautica. An thats my choice, I don\'t care what other people think. It\'s all about what I like, not what others like.
-
Nautica, American Eagle, Gap, and Structure are my entire closet.
I don\'t care for A&F, I\'ve found that I usually don\'t like the people who wear it either.
-
Like mm I refuse to be a walking ad.
I buy black clothes, that\'s about it, unmarked and black.
-
American Eagle, Old Navy, Gap, Fossil, oh, and there\'s my Homestar Runner T-Shirt (It\'s the one w/ StrongBad!)
-
toymachine, zero, alphanumeric, next, duffs, dc shoes, eithnes

Ahhh... I see trog is also a graduate of Crazy Go Nuts University.
:D
-
Nike
-
im a thrift store man myself also.
-
I just wear polos and tight clothes. So places like American Eagle are alright. I also stop by the local thrift store every so often.
-
i always go into thrift stores for vintage stuff
last week, i found a 60\'s style dark brown leather jacket for 5$
it had no rips on the outside, awesome find
-
i totally agree with mm and i will not wear a shirt with a logo on for a company other that a company that makes tshirts as far as a&f goes i will not pay $25 for a tshirt that looks like someone already wore it for years if wanted a shirt like that(which i have) ill goto a place like american outpost and buy 2 of them for 15 bucks but im not opposed to going to a place like geoffrey beene and spending 30 buck on a nice buttonup with zero logos thats gonna last me for years or 400 for a jacket that will outlive me
-
I usually buy whatever has the colours of my preference and anything that looks descent at a good price. I honestly don\'t care if I\'m a "walking ad" for a company.
i refuse to be a walking ad for companies
Like mm I refuse to be a walking ad.
...Why? I\'m just curious to why this bothers you two so much.
-
cause big companies are the "man" and we hate the "man"
-
Seems silly to pay money to advertise for someone.
-
Nautica

Why pay to do somebody else\'s work. And it simply annoys me to have alot of text and stuff on my choice of garment.
I don\'t mind small things, buy a lot of Adidas for example, those 3 little stripes don\'t bother me, infact I kidna like them, and small logo\'s that don\'t draw attention to themselves are good aswell.
I just like my clothes to be plain.
-
ANything any everything for target/walmart tshirts to roca wear..to armani..to nautica..to sean jean to old navy..etc..etc.. No real brand, just what ever happens to catch my fancy.
-
I wear whatever I feel like it or whatever looks good. Works for me.
-
I pretty much live at old navy. I really have very little in clothes though. Old Navy is cheap. Me like cheap.
Not into the whole vintage dime store thing.
A&F has cool clothes, but they are way way way too expensive.
I also agree with MM about the labels. Only labels I like are on the tag.
PS: This is a chick thread. I feel like I may have cought teh Ghey just by replying in here.
I hope what I said was masculin..
*Goes and bench presses some weights to feel buff*
-
I WANT A DISCO TOMATO SHIRT!
-
I usually dont stick to a particular brand, but I have like 4 pairs of Matix jeans... I usually wear skater/snowboard/casual stuff. I\'m a pretty typical skateboarder. Truckstop hats, Matix pants, Etnies shoes, American Zero t-shirt. Blacklabel sweater.... thats what I\'m wearing now anyway....
I hate people who wear A&F, Polo, Tommy Jeans, and all those "queer" brands, and run around acting all spiffy.... AKA Preps....
-
has to be Chaps and Polo, abercrombie shirts are way to tight and your right about the logo thing.
-
I got mostly old navy, but then I have some quicksilver. Then I have wierd shirts like "I fling poo" with a monkey on it.
-
Bunch of f*cking trendies in this thread. :p
I wear designs on my shirts.. not advertisments or "Status" symbols. Let them do their own advertising, and let me be judged on my own merits instead of being judged by what "brand" clothes I wear. Liquid Blue and Graphix are good for their designs.
An hey.. could someone PLEASE explain to me what the hell the deal is with wearing a sunvisor upside down and backwards? WTF? That\'s about the stupidest thing I\'ve seen since girls used to "Peg" their pants and tie knots in their shirts back in the 80\'s. Makes me wanna go up behind these posers, smack em in the back of the head an knock it off.
-
I used to get free clothes all the times from shoots, but if they had the name of the company anywhere visable, I\'d give them away (or sell the on e-bay).
I pretty much where stuff that looks good, and is made of good material. I can\'t stand cheap material.

oooooo. Quicksilver and Billabong. :D You have lots of them in Australia huh? I picked up a few for cheap compared to here on Guam while I was there last Spring break..
T-shirts: Two mentioned above, Hurley, Fox Racing, etc..
Polo shirts: Mostly Nautica, really nice cheap ones at Ross
-
I sometimes will wear like guys clothes. They are usually more comfy than girls. I love to wear Tommy Hilfiger, Nautica, Sean Jean, Polo, DKNY, Roca Wear, Fubu, South Pole and Adidas.
-

Hehehe, yeah, well they are Australian brands.

Bunch of f*cking trendies in this thread.
Not going with the trends is kind of a trend this days too.
-
yup..all of the anti everything tudes make me laugh as of the last 2 years or so.
Its the "NEXT BIG THING"!
-
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
THATS TRUE, ITS DAMN TRUE.
-
Well I\'m "normal people" so I wear:
Sean John (I hate P. Diddy, but some clothes have nice designs)
Avirex (not the shoes)
Rocawear
Phat Farm (Sometimes)
School of Hard Knocks
Not going with the trends is kind of a trend this days too.
Yea, I agree. Hating stuff seems cool to a select few of people, I guess.
-

Thank god someone else realizes this.
-
yeah its like theres some people that hate something thats popular, cuz they think other people will think thats cool because theyre "original" and have their "own sense of style".
-
My wardrobe consists of plain bluejeans and plain pull over hoodies. No lables or logos. thats actualy one reason why i hate oldnavy cloths. I cant find one that doesnt have theyre name all over it.
-
i think you people are missing the point of name brand clothing. its like if you buy a plain 56 dollar versace shirt. whats the point of buying it if people cant know that its a versace. i agree some times they over do it. but most of the time thats the whole reason why you buy polo and all those brands. cuz of the brand.
-
I also really like Freshjive.
-
Never go wrong with a good \'ol pair of Handmedowns;)
-
hey, they are still a brand :D
-
nothing but Armani
if only I could afford it...
-
I wear clothes from all over the place, I like to buy my clothes from Pacific sunwear alot. I also buy plain T shirts from a supplier here in town and make my own.
Hey, I should make a PSX2Central T shirt... any buyers??? ;) hehe
-
I like Tommy and BeBe and I loooove Express jeans. Especially those cute tight black pants. Also I have been known to sport Fubu shirts.
-
i wear alot of shiny mettalic button-up shirts
-

-
