More on this game tonight!
:bounce:

I can dig that GAMES!
-
Oratorio was fun. I hope they improve the controls a bit.
-
Awesome!
I\'m a sucker for giant mech games.
Can\'t wait for some screens.
-
Finally a new Virtual On game:bounce: I can\'t believe it. This have moved up on my most wanted list.
-
arguably the only worthwhile Sega game to appear on the PS2 besides sports games

How about Shinobi and VF4?
-
:D This is pretty exciting news. This is a great game and I can\'t wait to see how it turns out on the PS2
-
Like 99% of SEGA games on PS2 so far...it\'ll looks like crap.
-
What I would like to know is... Is this an entirely new VO game? Or a re-named port of VO4?
Also, Hajime Katoki is doing his best to keep the Temjin\'s design fresh and stylish... I think he\'s going a bit overboard with the colors though.

... Visually? Or the whole game itself? Either way, you\'d be wrong. Have you seen any media of VO4? It doesn\'t slouch when it comes to eye candy. Beams, missles, blades going all over the place, lighting up the Virtuaoids and the arenas. It looks quite nice, and no slowdown whatsoever. I don\'t think I really need to go into the gameplay, for it\'s the only real reason VO is so friggin\' popular in Japan. It has a solid, balanced fighting engine. It\'s a game where the really skilled and experienced players can really show their dominance... S\'not a game you can just run up to and start playin\' like a pro. No sir.
Anyways, I lubz mah VO. TWINSTICK SUPPORT!!!
-
Nu: Let\'s see.
SEGA Sport Tennis - Ugly jaggie crap with bad lightning
Crazy Taxi - another inferior version of the DC game
SEGA Slam Soccer - haven\'t see it myself but it\'s been slammed by just every other respectable site for it\'s graphics
VF4 - The only decent attempt so far that actually looks good if not for it\'s ridiculous shimmeries and jaggies.
Every other developer ...Namco, CAPCOM, Polyphony, Naugthty Dog, Konami etc etc have shown they can do much better graphics.
But SEGA hasn\'t improved one bit (or don\'t bother to).
You better pray it comes out looking ACCEPTABLE.

Don\'t like fighters much at all so VF4 doesn\'t do nothing for me
can\'t say I was ever interested in Shinobi either

... :o
The impressions I\'ve heard so far say it looks just as good as the arcade. If it does, I think it\'ll meet up to your visual standards, Paul. ;)
Pray?... Nah. Da Nu\'s not concerned about the graphics. I just want them to fix the control setup, or let it be customizable, put in a more in-depth replay mode, some online support, and some version updates through the PS2\'s HDD.

Have you seen the new trailer? It looks sweet, I recommend you check it out.

Some ingame screens please?
-
Are they goin\' to make a twin stick for the PS2? If so, I\'m all for it. If not, count me out.
-
Unfortunately, the only control scheme available in the demo wasn’t the one that would constitute perfect use of the dual shock controller setup. In the arcades, Virtual On uses a twin stick controller for the purposes of maneuvering the mechs and making them jump in the air, but instead of using a similar setup with the two analog sticks on the PlayStation 2 controller, Hitmaker opted to use the face buttons for turbo and jumping abilities. Hopefully, this will be changed before the game’s final release.

It\'s still early in development and it still looks good
It just need some better environments.

Looks awesome!

Some Sony fanboys still think Sega and Sony are at war so they criticize any game Sega does.
Virtual On is pretty fun with 2 players as well as Sega sports tennis and soccer slam. The graphics in Virtual On move really really fast so it\'s not wise to judge it\'s graphics with just a couple of photos.
Vf4 is one of the best games Ps2 has to offer. It\'s just a shame that most gamers now dont know how to properly play fighting games. The thing with fighting games is that you really had to spent time at the arcade watching and competing agaisnt other players to really learn and improve. Now days the arcade scene is dead and ppl play their fighting games at home without being exposed to really good players thus never really knowing how awful they really are or how good they could become.
Hopefully Capcom, Namco and Sega will release their fighters with online play in the future so us expert level players can finally show off how Vf4,VO, soul calibur, Street Fighter, etc are meant to be play to all of these fighting newbies.

Most likely. They\'ve made 2 Twin Stick Controllers for both previous home releases of VO, so I assume they\'ll continue tradition. I wouldn\'t totally count it out if they don\'t release a TSC though, LIC. VO could be played almost just as well with the normal controllers in the previous games, there was just a lot of practice required. ;)
-
It takes away from the experience and I play games for the experience, thus the Twin Stick is a must for me.
-
Mua! haaa! Haaaa! Haaaaaa!
Look at those screenshots!! Omigosh! Is it the Saturn version??
ROTFLOL.
SEGA sucks.
-
I gotta agree with Paul... it looks a little bland.
Hopefully they\'re just early shots.
-
hey is Sega doing low quality graphics for PS2 on purpose?
-
Omg........Only ok graphic game done by sega so far= NFL2k2 tick tock tick tock :)
