Title: your background....
Post by: CHIZZY on September 19, 2002, 09:42:05 PM: The other day I was thinking about my life, and it occured to me that I never could have guessed that I would end up like I am today. I grew up on a farm in a rural town. We had chickens and raised all our own vegetables. My only goal as a kid was to be old enough to go hunting with my dad...

Now I am working in a company making decent cash and living in a city...

SO- for younger members... where do you think you will be???

and older members.. where DID you think you would be?

Post by: theomen on September 20, 2002, 03:39:30 PM: I was an athelet so like every other young jock, I imagined going to a sports school (UCLA), and hoing pro in one of the sports I played. But then I got pissed off at my highschool coaches and quit every team I was on.

Now I\'m in college preparing to be a cop...not exactly what I planned as a youngster, but it\'s all good.

Where I am: At a different school getting my BS in Computer Science.

Why am I here? I was going to go to Ohio State but I couldn\'t get any money for football so I ended up going to a smaller school in ATL. I still play football but not for school. The trade off was cool though because the ratio of girls to guys down here is 17:1.

I thought I\'d be a mechanical or electrical engineer, and I ended up as a service technician that not only includes these skills, but requires sound and structural engineering as well.
