I went to the mall to go hang out with some friends and we ended up leaving the mall and I got drunk as a skunk.. Afterwards I came back to the mall and I was basically in my own world.. Then my boyfriend came and picked me up and when he did he just heard that his cousin was like dieing... So we went to the hospital to see him and we basically watched him die.. I felt awful because I started crying makin the situation worse.. Then he introduced me to his mother and I controlled myself long enough to make myself presentable...
I feel awful for the state I was in for such an occasion :( I think that is one of the lowest things you can do.. He was a lil mad at me afterwards but then he said he forgave me... But somehow I just don\'t believe him and because of this I cannot sleep at all :(
I just know that I will never get high or drunk ever again.. This made me realize how stupid a person is when they are drunk.. :(
-
Dont feel bad b/c of that.
1. He has no right to be mad at you b/c of that. You did that BEFORE you knew of the situation..not after.
2. What you do in your time is your business..not his families, so dont worry about that. It certainly helps, but they dont have to like you. If your BF has a problem with you drinkin, he should be a man and bring it up with you instead of using this as an excuse IF he is going to do so.
3. Be yer lovable self bebe..you always have me :D
-
I dont have a problem with drinking, but I do have a problem with people getting so drunk that they fully make asses of themselves.
Not saying you did this though. Just make sure you don\'t do it again.

Thanks for the offer :bounce: ;)
I honestly did make an ass of myself.. I just hope that he will forgive me for it.. I was still spinning when I came home earlier but I finally sobered up... All this shit it like runnin through my mind right now.... and I have to be up for school in like 2 hours :(
It is really bothering me because I am trying to go over in my head what went on today and alot of it is a blur to me... I hate not being able to remember stuff. It is very frustraiting..
-
I might say what I say b/c I dont mind doing that. I get drunk off my ass weekly, but as of my teen years, I have been able to control my emotions to date.
Im all for doing whatever you want to do, whether it is drinking again or never again.
After thinking about this a little more, I would have just told him that you were not up to this right now and gone home to sober up abit. Then I would have gone to the hospital.
You say you were acting like an ass, please explain.
Kepp yer head up, it could always be worse!!
-
Well I was cryin for no reason and I was more upset at the hospital than he was and I had no reason to be because I had no idea what was goin on... When we got in the car I was yellin at him because he yelled at me for getting drunk and I was all like "Look who\'s talkin all you do is deal and smoke and if you really wanted to better yourself you would get a ****in job blah blah blah".. So he got pissed about that.
I would have gone home too if I had known we were going to the hospital. I didn\'t know where we were goin to we were half way there :(
I wish I could turn back time and never have gotten that way :(!
-
hey, do you have AIM? wanna talk? I will be awake for a while.
-
I\'m mad that I am finally awake and your ass is gone :( ^_^
-
My advice would be to take his word for it. He forgave you and that\'s the best thing he could have done under cercumsrances. I\'ve been through moments similar to yours. It sucks but at the same time you have to lift your head up and be thankfull for what you have.

Don\'t....ever..... say that.
Don\'t.
-
You\'re only 16, you shouldn\'t even be drinking.
And he\'s a dick for dealing drugs.
-
I have to agree with Bob - 16 and drinking is pretty bad. Sure most people underage drink every so often, but drinking on a Sunday and going to the mall??? WTF? I don\'t think I was ever that bored when I was that age.
-
Don\'t pay attention to him, dealing and taking drugs is far worse than anything you have done.
-
Drinking is lame and I could see nothing wrong with him being pissed because I know I\'ve been mad when someone couldn\'t control themselves because they thought it was cool to drink. Atleast you realized you did something wrong though. And Shit happens, but if you do it again shame on you.

Eh... I agree that drinking on a Sunday and going to the mall (or was it drinking in the mall?) is lame, but having a fun night out and drinking with your friends isn\'t lame.
-
Having a beer here or there, great. Getting drunk is lame then, not having control of yourself or your actions is not cool. And I do have a different perspective since I mostly only see 18 year old guys getting trashed, not legal drinkers.
-
Yeah that is something you don\'t see everyday a trashed 16 year old girl at the mall. Seriously, 16 is too young to be getting hammered.
-
Lol, you guys should live here then. 15 year olds can buy alchohol legally.
-
Kids here can\'t handle any responsibility.
-
That would be very scary here in the US. Boz is right, it seems now a days even those of legal age can\'t handle that responsibility, let alone a 15-16 yr old.
-
The legal age in the uk is 18, but just about everybody under that age has had a drink.

No there is a difference what I did was really dissrespectful and being sober now I realize that... BUT at the same time I had no idea his cousin was gonna die.. And he knows how I am with that.. He knows that I would never try to dissrepect him in any way and I think that is why he forgave me... That was the main reason he was mad. And I could handle my shit. When I met his mother I kept myself together and all. I did NOT walk the mall DRINKING either.... I drank before I went.. I didn\'t plan on drinking so much.. I was only planin on havin 2 shots.. I don\'t drink because I think it is "cool" either. I did it because I wanted to and now after seeing the shit that can go on unexpectedly my opinion has changed..
I still might do it every once in awhile if I am with him and it is like limited but never again without him.. Besides what makes Drinking on a sunday bad?? I mean people smoke weed and shit on Sundays and I don\'t see people commenting on that.

I just think it\'s odd drinking on a Sunday (afternoon?). I only drink (thursday)/friday/saturday night when/if me and my friends go out.
-
Heh the people that do that don\'t post it here and walk around malls trashed. Your drinking shots too!?!?!
-
What you mean drinkin shots too?
I had a few shots and like 2 flammin shots.. why??
-
Errr I thought you would be drinking um margaritas or something not taking shots! Seriously, drinking at your age is gonna lead to other things down the line.
-
The main thing is that you have learned your lesson.
-
yeah it would be way worse if you knew then went drinking, im sure your bf felt better having you there,, even if you was drunk as a skunk

yea..we all know how true to the proverbial "T" that is

It wouldnt be much different than it is now. Making it legal at that age wont make it much worse.
-
You only live once. Live your one and only life the way you want to. I\'m not saying drugs are the best things in life because it can be the worst, but it can certainly make it a little more fun.
-
Well maybe underage drinking is acceptable where you were brought up, but not with me. Sure I drank here and there, but not until I was like over 18. If a 16 year old is looking to escape by getting drunk that is sad. It just makes me wonder what they will be doing for a release when they are 20.
Oh yes and give 16 year olds the right to drink. Hell they can\'t even drive well, let alone handle drinking and driving. Europe is a completely different case as Bozco stated earlier. Kids here don\'t handle any responsibility now a days.
-
I didnt state underage drinking was accpetable, but it is reality. Over 18 or not..that is as bad as 16..still not legal. Maybe they will be doing the same thing at 20..30..40..maybe they will quit..maybe move on to every other drug. Point is, it is a big maybe.
My point was that things wouldnt be much different. Its not like the age limitation is going to stop them if you want to slam a few back.
-
No it won\'t stop them, but its a deterent. I firmly believe that if you lower the drinking age you will have a lot more drunk drivers on the road. Its all about responsibility and this society as whole doesn\'t teach much of that.
-
If a person is going to drive drunk in the first place..any age limitaion is not even in their vocabulary.
Of course society doesnt teach us that..societies leaders dont even own up to their mistakes.
-
Heh maybe not, but a 16 yr old is more likely to get behind the wheel drunk than I am. I have been drunk and called someone. Teens might be afraid to call someone ie their parents so they will just try and drive. Who knows... it won\'t be lowered. As far as our society goes I competely agree.
-
A little more fun at the people around you sake, no problem.
-
I guess you have a point with the calling the parents thing. When I was drinking underaged and had a car..I just stayed where I was untill I was sober. Might have broken curfew..but I was had some kinda good excuse :D Most dont have the good sense to not drive b/c they think getting home late is worse..go figure.
-
I\'m never going to drink. At least, if I can keep myself from drinking, I never will.
EDIT: I\'m not sure why I added that to this thread. Now I probably sound like some sort of stupid snob. Oh well.

Geez, you are too young to be so upset over a relationship issue. Dump him and have fun! You have your whole adult life to experience sleepless nights, don\'t start now!
Besides, having your boyfriend take you to witness the death of a relative is a rather awkward situation - and that\'s an understatement. :crap: There\'s nothing wrong with being a compassionate drunk.
-
Starr, don\'t worry about it so much. You cried because you saw someone die. I cried when my bird died in my hands. Its not exactly something pleasant to see. As for being drunk, you shouldn\'t drink THAT much and go to the mall. That is actually the first time i ever heard of that. Anyway, these things happen and you can\'t avoid it. I\'m sure not too many people realized you were drunk, just hysterical.
-
Starr - listen to Sara.. she\'s 100% correct. You\'re young.. relationships come and go all the time. Live an learn.. take the lessons you learned in this relationship and use them to better define the type of guy you really wanna be with.
And to the rest of everyone.. lay off aight? Ya\'ll sound like a bunch of lil wussies. "Ohhhh.. 16 years old is too young to drink... shame shame." Whatever. Look, I don\'t necessarily "condone" underage drinking.. but I don\'t think it\'s THAT big of a deal either. Hell I was getting hammered at 13, and I don\'t think drinkin at an early age has affected me or any of my friends negetively in the least. As long as it\'s jus an ocassional thing, don\'t harsh on her. I used to do shots of Everclear with girls her age when I was still in HS... it\'s nothing bad or evil. God, you all sound like you walked outta a After School Special or a lame health class film or something.
-
Thank you all for the advice. It really means alot to me that you guys care enough to give me advice and be serious on it... I HAVE learned my lesson that what I did was dumb.. I talked to him about 30 mins ago and he appologized for takin his greif out on me.. I explained that the "drunk" episode was not on purpose..
And I do not think that a teen is more prone to jump behind the wheel smashed.. People of age do that more than those who are not of age. Look at the bars and stuff I think it is more like an equal number..
Has anyone ever had "99 Apples"??
