I thought to pay a respective visit to my oldest Online-home ;)
I noticed post-count can only be viewed via Profiles - which is a good thing, in my humble opinion. It greatly reduces the importance of the damned thing :)
So how are you, my old gang? I haven\'t bought a Playstation 2 -game in ages - the latest, and probably the last ever, was Final Fantasy X; which I\'m still trying to complete...
-
Geez, where have you been?
Also, where is Crippler?
-
*kills DJ*
You said you loved me... :crying:
-
Well hi.. I\'m like you, haven\'t bought a game in ages. Last one was GTA3.. I don\'t ever know when I\'ll have money to spend for a game. :( Oh well, as life goes on.....
-
I haven\'t seen you around here in ages!
-
I\'m like that too, the last game I bought was Frontline and before that was GTA3. I\'m just slowly removing myself from gaming in general. Oh, and I\'m above you in the top 20. :p
-
*cracks knuckles*
Bozco, have you witnessed the postal rage of ol\' Joyda? ;)
Samwise, I still do :) You are one of the members that once inspired me. An idol, iconic figure, a statue in my shelf of online experiences :)
True, it has been a long while since I used to post frequently. I might have changed a bit, but deep inside, I am the familiar Darth you all know and, eh, hopefully love ;)
I will re-throne myself. Just wait!
Editation:
Oh, I still use my black beauty - but not as frequently as I used to. I bought a GameCube last summer, and I have been enjoying some of the benefits the company has to offer.
-
I\'m not black, ohh u mean ps2. Good to see ya again joyda, my young evil padawan.
-
so you back to stay??? last game i bought was the thing last fri, bought tekken 4 the weekend b4, but took it back for the thing, bought project zero a few weeks b4 that to......
-
DJ are you playing AnimalCrossing like everybody else w/a gamecube?
-
Im so sad! I need to get animal crossing :crying: I feel left out being the only one here who has a GC missing out in all the fun of animal crossing!
-
Heh... I\'m in the top 20... at 20.
-
i\'m only like 27 or something...meh who cares.
anyways welcome back Darth, hope you actually stay around
-
Welcome back. I hope you\'re here for a while :)
As for me, I\'m not even top 40 material yet :(
-
Care about the ranking you should not. ;) To my own merit, I could say that you are looking at a member whom used to be on top three for a long time :)
I don\'t, unfortunately, have Animal Crossing - yet at least. I bought Resident Evil last week, and it has given me serious goosebumps ;) Truly an amazing experience...
And yes, I am here to stay - finally. This is a true promise.
SoulGrind, it is a pleasure to see the old master... ;)
-

Greets, Sublime :)
Life has been smiling lately. Exams have been quite easy, and even as I am a lazy studier, I have survived in high school. New hobbies include Tennis, which truly is *my* sport ( I am quite good at it, too ) and drawing; a skill which was long-forgotten.
-
Ahh, some other people besides me who play tennis.

Hmm, I\'d like to try it out. I think I could enjoy it.
So playing tennis and golf is on my to-do list. :D
-
i like tennis, though i suck at it, cos i used to play basketball alot, and have to flick your wrist when you shoot.. while tennis you have to keep it rigid ( you wrist)... so i kinda suck, though i could serve very good
-
Kopking, you are correct. When you serve, the most important factor - besides timing - is your wrist movement. You have to hit the ball high and hard.
Samwise, you have my recommendation(s) ;) Tennis is a very fun and rewarding sport once you get the hang of it. Took me a year, but then again, I\'m not *that* talented ;)
Bozco, how long have you hobbied the sport? Do you prefer doubles or singles ( tournament-wise )?
-
Welcome back DJ, while you may not remember me since I was an insignificant noob, I remember you and the info/advice you have given me in the past. Dont be a stranger!!
-
luckee, whether you believe it or not, I do remember you :) Agreed, I have been absent for a long time - but it doesn\'t mean that I would have completely alienated myself from the boards ;) Not much has changed since I left - the core of regular members is still pretty much the same. I love the new additions \'tho :)
-
no i mean i could serve very good, but im crap at playing shots etc, cos i snap my wrist
-
You got something against animal crossing Rob?
BTW, this is fyked up, people keep saying that you can go to other people\'s towns(without a memory card), is GCN online yet... or are people jumping the gun?

I\'m 17 now and I\'ve played since I was 4. Now I\'m on varsity for my high school. Tennis is amazingly pretty big here too, we have 3 teams. This year I have the potential to be #2 in the school but would rather play doubles. Though I prefer singles because of my speed, it seems doubles is a more rewarding win and takes more teamwork and overall smarts. And I\'ll make it farther in the state tournament which is a bonus.

You would beat me without any problems what-so-ever, me thinks ;)
Tennis is a pretty big sport here in Kokkola too, if compared to the level of activity elsewhere. Yet we only have one, single club and three teams ( divided into age-groups ).
-
Their are about 3 tennis clubs around my area and what I can say is that its overpriced. I only take lessons in the winter, right before my season. During the summer I would much rather go practice at a park with my coach or some other educated players.
-
During both summers and winters, I have two Tennis lessons per week. Last summer, which has - unfortunately - passed away, I played approximately 2-4 hours nearly every day. So I progressed and learnt more during three-month summer-period than the 8-9 month Winter-season.
