this might be old news.....it was posted on Megadeths page in April ( I havent seen anything baout it here) the band has dispanded due to dave mustaines Accdident which gave him neuropothy (sp) in his hand and arm and wont be healed till mid 2003....they put out a new cd earlier this month of new tracks and stuff from their concerts.

Indeed, and the bass player even joined Metallica. Which I belive would piss off Mustaine more than anything. Since he doesn\'t really like Metallica.
-
Meh, they went downhill long ago..
-
yeah, dave mustaine sold out years back when he became the "political correspondant" for MTV
hes a joke and rode metallica\'s (where he started) success
-
To be honest, Im not really upset..havent been a megadeath fan in a LONNNNNNNG time.
-
Haven\'t heard anything from megadeth in years!
-
yeah i didnt even relise they wasa still around
-
They went down hill fast after Rust In Peace. I used to be a huge MegaDeth fan.. they\'re old style is still some of my favorite music.. but ever since Dave & Dave stopped firing their bassists and drummers after every album things just fell apart. And that "group therapy".. what a joke. All it did for them was make them sellouts in the end.. still clinging to Metallica\'s shirttails.
IMO, they peaked with "So Far, So Good, So What" and arguably with "Peace Sells". Jeff Young and Chris Behler > Gar Samulson and Chris Poland > Nick Menza and Marty Friedman.
-
I\'m more upset about Fear Factory breaking up... Mustaine will pop up in 10 years with his "new" band called... what else... Megadeth.. ala Rose and GnR... :snore:

did anyone see AXL at te VMA\'s? he coud hardly talk when he was interviewed and he looked like CRAP! and his guitarist who was "trying to look like slash with a KFC bucket on his head.....whats up with that?

Never heard a Megadeath song ever (or never knew who sang it). What is a famous song I might have heard?
-

Peace Sells...But Who\'s Buying?
Wake up Dead
Sweating Bullets

if yer that interested, just get this album

goldberg even used megadeth\'s "crush em" as his theme song for a while
-
I\'ll download a song and see if I remember or recognize them. I\'m not really into the heavy metal music unless I\'m lifting.
-
Naw mm, those are some of their better songs.. but since they didn\'t get much radio play/media coverage he probably hasn\'t heard them before. Chances are you\'ve probly heard something offa Crytic Writings (Cough* Crap sellout album *Cough) or Risk like:
Trust
Use the Man
Crush em
Almost Honest
Or you mightta heard something offa their semi-popular Youthanasia / Countdown to Extinction albums like,
Symphony of Destruction
Countdown to Extinction
Archetecture of Agression
Train of Consequences
Killing Road
Blood of Heroes
Then they had a few famouse movie/special songs like:
Go to Hell - Bill & Ted\'s Bogus Journey
Angry Again - Last Action Hero (Good Song :D )
99 Ways to Die - The Beavis & Butthead Experience
"trying to look like slash with a KFC bucket on his head.....whats up with that? - KillaX
Naw, he wasn\'t trying to be like "Slash". He was jus being his regular goofy self. That\'s BucketHead from Primus.. and I\'ve seen him do cameos with other bands like Phish/StringCheese Incident and other Les Claypool projects like Flying Frog Brigade and Bucket of Burning Brains. I was actually surprised to see him playing with G\'nR at the VMA\'s. Anyhow.. G\'nR (what\'s left of em) have gone downhill too. Axle should have just retired after Spaghetti Incident. :crap:
