17-14, the Rebels STUN the Gators. How the hell did that just happen? Grossman looked awesome against Tennessee, then he comes back and throws a backbreaking INT for 6. Man, what happend?

I saw a bit of the third quarter.  3 and out 3and out int, kept on going..

What the Fizuck was the game plan for the second half?  Um, they tried to freaking throw long every single damn play.   That was the worst piece of crap I had ever seen.  I missed the 4th quarter, but it obviously didn\'t get any better.

Gators suck.  They aren\'t suppose to do well this year..

BUT I DIDN\'T EXPECT TO LOSE TO THESE DWEEBS!!  UGH!!  Damn it sucks this year.

Yeah man, I know how that goes...but you knew that :-P

Didn\'t expect to lose to Penn State, nor to Iowa State. I expected these losses to come more down the road, to, say, K-State, Texas, Colrado, etc.

Oh well, shit happens. Nebraska won 38-14 today to McNeese State, 595 total yards, and Jammal Lord Started, and rushed for 220 yards. Not bad.

Alright, yes, this is a bit late for Mr. Vid, but...

36-7! At home! ROAR.

I wish I knew the rules... it looks fun. Hey, the other day I saw some guy running from one end of the field to the other, making a touchdown - then he ran back while the other guys blocked the \'enemy\'. He beat some kind of record doing that. :nerd:

Dude, the Gators are a joke.  Some of the worst play calling I\'ve ever seen.  They never freaking run the ball any more.

I don\'t even watch anymore.  I\'m saddened by what once was.

Hmm...so HOW many Florida fans are screaming Spurrior\'s name right about now?

On a seperate note, who else hates the Hurricanes?

And I will agree with Samwise, the man who has absolutely no clue as to what he\'s talking about :)

28-27. Ugh. At least the Huskers won :)

Speaking of the Huskers, I find it APPAULING, that at 5-2, they\'re unranked, while 4-3 Florida is 24th and 25th in the respective polls. That strikes me as JUST a bit odd. Who cares if they beat Tennessee -- they aren\'t that great, either.

See Yuz.

I find it APPAULING that my 7-0 Buckeyes are ranked #4.

Everyteam has one of those games.  The ones that are able to hold together and esacpe them are the true champions.  The ones that give up and give in aren\'t.

I know that either VT or Miami has to lose...but who\'s gonna beat Oklahoma for us?  Man, why couldn\'t they be playing the Huskers again? :(

You can say they got outplayed but we all know who ended up winning.  But the road ahead doesn\'t look too pretty.  Wisconsin, Penn State, and Michigan.

Who cares what The Ohio State Buckeyes are ranked right now?  If they are undefeated in the end they will be #1.  No one gives a trophy after week 7 or whatever it is.

And who cares cause their destiny involves a loss to Michigan anyway.

Post by: Bozco on October 15, 2002, 04:05:34 PM
Why do you say they will be #1 if they end undefeated.  Isn\'t their that team called Miami?  And I know they still have Michigan left, hell I\'m worried about games before then but they still won\'t have the same fate Florida did.

Oh, and you always get pissed when OSU is mentioned yet their are more OSU fans here than any other college team.  Doesn\'t really make sense to me.

They will be #1 because if they are undefeated at the end of the year then that means they beat another undefeated team in Miami.

Ain\'t gonna happen.

Oh, I see what your saying.  I was just thinking after the regular season.  And if one sorry ass team can almost beat Miami, why couldn\'t another so called terrible team beat them?

I think Miami overlooked FSU\'s running ability.  Hell, I think every one overlooks their ability to run for they SUCK.  But I can\'t say anything this year cause the Gators suck worse than a high school team.  Gd they suck.  I hate it.  UGH....

Hrm....Greg Jones is one of the top 10, maybe top 5, RB\'s in the country. I wouldn\'t say their running game sucks.

OU vs. Miami in the Fiesta Bowl.
Title: No really, Vid, NUT UP!
Post by: ROL Jamas on October 17, 2002, 05:13:24 AM
*yawn*

Greg Jones isn\'t a great RB. Those holes were humongous. Florida State has the best Offensive Line in football, and that was well documented before the season even started. Miami came in thinking FSU would lay down, well, there was a reason why FSU lost to Louisville -- they were looking ahead. Their entire season was geared to beat the Canes in Miami, and if it wasn\'t for Xavier Bietia, the FG snapper, and the holder, they would have done it. Blah.

Anyway, it won\'t be OU vs. Miami. Oklahoma\'s going to lose very soon (2 days, perhaps?), and my gut tells me that a certain Husker team is going to make it to Houston :-D

I have a hell of a prediction - Undefeated Virginia Tech vs. 12-1 Miami in the Fiesta Bowl. If Va Tech goes undefeated and bearly beats Miami, then I can almost garuntee you that Miami will only fall to #2. That, however, depends on if Oklahoma is still undefeated. Notice how I never metnioned Ohio State? They\'ll lose once, perhaps twice during the final 2 months.

See Yuz.

Ok, lets say he isn\'t one of the top 5 backs in the country, that still doesn\'t take away from the fact that FSU has a good ground game.

Well, if Jones isn\'t a top 5 back, WHO are?

Ohio State could lose, they have stiff competition.  Oh, and Maurice Clarett is talking about going pro after this season. :(  And no point trying to point it out all big about how you think the buckeyes are going to lose, your Huskers are sweet.

Post by: ROL Jamas on October 17, 2002, 05:20:04 PM
Hey man, I\'ll get over it. I\'m a Husker fan, but I\'m a college football fan, too :)

Maurice Clarett\'s a good back, but his maturity level is the only thing that is lacking. He\'ll get over it, though...and even if he talks about leaving now, he won\'t. He might leave after his Sophomore year, which wouldn\'t be too shocking, but who knows.

Jones isn\'t a Top 5 back, Cory. Magahee, Clarett, Griffin, Jones, Suggs. Scary thing is, 2 of those backs play for the same team, Va Tech.

See Yuz.

Clarett acts with maturity, but this shows that he is lacking their some.  He\'s good, but like you said, he\'ll stay.  HOPEFULLY  Not that Ross and Hall aren\'t both still sweet.

Well, eh, when you cry on the sideline after getting pulled out of a blowout, well, that\'s not exactly maturity :)

He\'ll stay from another year...hell, maybe he\'ll want to do what no other person outside of a Buckeye RB has done, win the Heisman twice :)

See Yuz.

Heh, yeah, I saw that. Too bad Sorgi couldn\'t have put together a last good drive...damn.

Huskers lose 24-21 to Oklahoma State, first loss to them in 41 years. Yeah, the Huskers have reached an all-time low.

Oregon also feels this, though they just lost to Arizona State at home, har. Pure Greatness.

Oh, uhm. Go Sooners. And the Gators...wow. Had to block a FG with 20 seconds left to send it to Overtime...damn you Duval :(

Oh yes, you gotta love that ASU game. Go ESPN Gamecast.

Now if onnly ASU can beat Washington, then Washington State, they have a very good shot at the Rose Bowl.

Erm.
