I just installed the newest drivers for my SB Live! VAlue and now I have NO audio.....I tried everything. anyone have any thoughts??????? I am very tempted into buying a new card...........any suggestions?

Did you try uninstalling them and going back to whatever drivers you used before?

What windows version are you using?

windows XP. ii\'m going out to get a new ound card and power supply. I can live w.o audio for a couple days

SB live drivers are shifty. I\'ve had heaps of problems too. Best way to install them, is to completely uninstall the old ones, outta reg and outta your system. Then installing updated drivers should be easy with no problems. When you do a clean install of your os. just install the new drivers \'doh :)

I just installed the SB Audigy MP3+ Audio card and a 350 Watt Power supply! it is good to hear audio from my pc again!

I Spoke 2 Friggin soon! now windows wont even start! it gets to the screen with the scrolling bar and then re-boots....someone is coming over tomorrow to fix it....Atleast I will have Timesplitters 2 to play!

There\'s a solution to your problem. They call it a shotgun. Would work quite well.

well...i am vback on my PC (sans Audio) it is the audio card...........i\'m going to back up my pc then go into my registry and remove the stuff from creative labs and try again...plus go on thier site and see if thre is any help there. BTW havent played TS2 yet.........I tried re-installing again..........it re-boos ok the first time but the second time it goes to the scrolling bar and then re-boots...........

I finally fixed it!...thank god it booted up right after the re-start so i could install the new drivers! man those drivers are touchy!
