Title: I\'m so happy
Post by: Heat on October 06, 2002, 10:51:26 AM: I finally done it, I upgraded my WIN Modem to a hardware 56k modem, I just played online for the first time. I went from 1000+ ping to 100 - 400, I was playing UT2003 with no lag, plus I owned a newbie server for a laugh, 72kills, 15deaths, thats kicking your ass.

On my old win modem I got 1000+ Ping
On my new modem I get 100 - 400, haven\'t had any lag

Post by: Agnino on October 09, 2002, 11:12:25 AM: But isnt it like hell when u have 200ping and everyone else have 30ping ? On the bf1942 servers I play on, u get usualy kicked if u have over 150ping. But may be different with UT2k3

Finally, remember last time this question was asked? I came in with lower the ping better the game then you come with what it actually is.

hell at 200ping pffft, i play cs at 300+ ping and still end up owning most guys on a server.
its only sometimes that a dude will come acting like a snob and complain about my high ping and ask me to leave my response usually is "press the tab button".
